25.01.2022 Harvey has been painting and exhibiting since 1961, when his work was first hung in the Art Gallery of Western Australia. His most recent work is inspired by the colourful sights in the North West landscape and Margaret River in the south-west. The paintings are a combination of simple shapes and pure bold, high key colours that strike out at the viewer. Harvey has been awarded many commissions such as the Diocese of the Kimberley and the Cable Beach Club Broome. His work is represented in both national and international collections.
