24.01.2022 Classes resume as of Wednesday the 6 January. We will be teaching Eden Waltz and Banyan Blues from 7pm to 8pm. Social dancing from 8 to 9:45pm. $15 per person. Hope to see you at the Campania Club for a new year of dancing.

22.01.2022 In support of a local winery and fundraiser for a local sporting club we have purchased wine for our prizes. Should be enough to last 4 to 6 months. This does not include our wine we have stored at the Campania Club.

16.01.2022 New direction from the Premier SA. Please read in full (including image). The unfolding situation in Queensland has prompted the Greater Brisbane region to be declared a hotspot. Greater Brisbane will go into lockdown for three days, while contact tracers work to ensure the UK strain of COVID-19 is not circulating in the community.... As a result, from midnight tonight, people arriving who have been in the Greater Brisbane region will be required to quarantine for 14 days. Furthermore, anyone in South Australia who has been in the Greater Brisbane region since 2 January will be required to get a COVID-19 test immediately and again in 5 days. Travel to and from Queensland should be reconsidered as further restrictions may be imposed at short notice. We know the UK strain is particularly virulent and we need to act fast to protect the health and safety of South Australians.

16.01.2022 Please read this entire post including our last paragraph. Our dance class, cabarets and private lessons are back after Saturday night at midnight (Sunday morning). Not in time for our Hawaiian Ball though. This is the reason why..... Having read the Directions, it is not a reversal of directions back to Monday’s directions. It is similar but with some further easing of restrictions. Dancing is no longer a restricted activity under clause 4 Interpretation. It is still a fitn...ess or recreation activities under the same clause. Density requirements are now 1 person in 4 square metres which halves our maximum numbers previously at 1 person per 2 square metres. We are now down to 207 people at the Campania Club. We must maintain the 1.5 metre social distancing rule. Due to my safety imposed limits of 184, we are still under this so for us, there are no changes. Under the definition of relevant licensed premises, no alcohol and dancing is allowed. All Covid Management plans are suspended for 2 weeks from 17 November. Despite that no covid management plans for drinking and dancing have been approved. Contact tracing records are still required and so are COVID Marshals. If you have read this, please like it so that I know who to contact to be informed.

07.01.2022 This fantastic night of dance coincided with Lynettes Birthday and what a way to celebrate but to dance the night away with her dancing family and friends. Travis made a beautiful cake and Luke and Lynette were talked into performing a floorshow (without notice) dancing the President's Daughter Waltz. Lynette stood out in her sparkling dress but then again, it was her night.

07.01.2022 Our summer Hawaiian ball will be a sold out event so it will be closed to walk in dancers who have not booked. As such it will be a private function as per the current Covid Directions, so alcohol and dancing will be allowed.

07.01.2022 Re our Tiaras and Bowties Ball on 24 October, 170 seats already booked. Only 14 seats remain as our limit is 184. If you have not yet booked, phone us on 0431 555 881 to secure your seat.
