Photographing his class was exhilarating, and a work out in its own right. 06.01.2022 Adobe Creative Cloud! Well, at least the apps we use on a daily basis. * Photoshop * Lightroom * After Effects... * Premiere Pro 10 years ago I began learning video editing with Sony Vegas, and a few years into it I made the decision to switch from that to Premiere Pro, which was a daunting leap at the time as Premiere is far more advanced than Vegas (not sure if Sony even still makes Vegas? I’ve never looked back). Next was understanding After Effects, which is such a massive application, it still blows my mind, and as much as I know, there’s so much more to learn (always). When I started learning photography (which was after video), I actually used Photoshop to edit my images. This was fine initially as I was only ever working on one image (I’d take 100 photos and find the one banger I wanted to work on), but once I discovered Lightroom, wow oh wow, I think I was crazy using Photoshop. I use Photoshop a lot, for the right and wrong reasons, and am grateful I began using that to edit images. Illustrator is the next app in Adobe’s Creative Cloud I‘m learning as I believe this would be more efficient at my design projects. Yes, I’ve gone about things in a backwards way but it’s totally worked out for me. Thank you @adobe for making such amazing software. 06.01.2022 On Saturday we photographed Infinity Martial Arts’ Muster event and it was a banger of a day! Over 1900 photos were taken (which we smoothed down to a cool 300) of the guys and gals doing what they do best - BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). Separate from the action shots, we covered some portrait-style photography too. Everybody looked great in their gis! Special shoutout to everyone who attended and made it such a fun event to capture. Keep crushing it!!

04.01.2022 It’s coming! The new, Sony a7S iii camera is arriving this month and we’ve pre-ordered this bad boy!! I absolutely cannot wait for this to arrive!!! It’s a huge upgrade from the Canon 80D I’ve been using these past years. I’ve been waiting for the ‘perfect’ camera (if such a thing was ever to exist) for some time now, but every new camera came with some caveat. Poor autofocus. No 10bit internal. Overheating. Take your pick. But here we are, in 2020, and Sony has created what ...I believe WILL BE...the perfect camera. Without completely boring you with specs, this weapon is made for videographers, capturing 4K, high bitrate, up to 120fps, 10bit, 4:2:2, all internally, with outstanding autofocus (including human and animal eye-tracking!!), 15 stops of dynamic range, touchy-flippy screen, dual card slots, S-Log.... I’ve lost you already. Let’s just say, it’s going to be amazing! Huge step in the right direction. Moving brands from Canon to Sony will be interesting too. #excited #sony #sonya7siii #swaypunc
