16.01.2022 We always love hearing some positive feedback from our clients. Thanks Chloe and Rodney We had new Waikato clusters installed in the dairy today! Upgrading the vacuum, adding a second air line, a larger bowl and lighter shells meant we finished milking at least 20 minutes earlier and the cows had a much more pleasant milking experience. We are trying to improve our efficiency in a lot of areas on the farm this year, so the appeal of spending less time in the dairy whilst a...lso improving the harvesting of milk is definitely a win-win! Shout out to the team at Southwest Dairy Services for the installation, great work as usual. To chat about your dairy, contact: Damian for dairy services 0455 737 337 Glenn for consumables and chemicals 0498 868 883

14.01.2022 Stall gate modernisation freshly finished on Friday in Alvie, Victoria. Larsen Stalling Systems, our preferred brand of stall gates are an Australian owned and manufactured business, engineered by our good friend and dairy technician Matt Nichol. Key benefits of the Larsen stall gates:... -Built in Australia by Aussie hands, and built to last -Engineered specifically for durability and efficiency of operation -No physical interaction, creating a calmer environment for the cows -Compressed air stalling, again engineered for cow comfort through lack of noise -One ram per five bails, instead of one ram per bail like other brands. Less moving parts -Solid jump rail that lifts with the gates, giving the cows more room to exit Thanks Peter Delahunty for choosing us to complete your upgrade To chat about upgrading your dairy, contact Damian 0455 737 337. Taking bookings for November onwards

10.01.2022 Fresh silo install for Midfield Meats in Woolsthorpe, by Jeremy Did you know we are your local dealer for Ahrens silos? An aussie made and australian owned business, their quality speaks for itself.... Thanks to the Midfield Group for continuing to support us, and other local businesses

09.01.2022 We would like to officially welcome Kyle to our team and his full time role Kyle started working with us earlier in the year on a casual basis after the restaurant he was working in had to shut due to Covid. He is a qualified chef of 10 years (definitely will come in handy for the work BBQ’s), and ran his own business fixing phones and computers on the side. He also studied electrotechnology at TAFE. We were extremely impressed with Kyle’s ability to hit the ground running... and learn new skills, his attention to detail and strong work ethic. We are thrilled to have him as the newest addition to our permanent full-time team. His favourite parts of the job so far are the welding and electrical aspects of the role, and the crew he works with. We have an incredibly close knit team, and have always believed that the culture of the workplace should come first. We pride ourselves that in the almost 6 years we have been in business, we have never had someone resign. Without the people we have in our team, we would not be where we are today. Kyle is currently learning under our senior dairy technicians, but is already proving to be an asset to our business. Welcome Kyle

With 13 sets of boots on the ground, no job is too big or small. To chat feed systems, contact Damian 0455 737 337 For consumables, contact Glenn 0498 868 883

07.01.2022 It’s the perfect morning to whip out a beanie, and how cute are the Van Dijk crew. We’re a bit late handing them out, but make sure you grab one off the crew when they’re at your farm! Harvest is just around the corner, bring on the sunshine

05.01.2022 Stage III restrictions are back in place for us for the next six weeks, but as an essential business we are still fully operational. Our breakdown, servicing, construction, chemical and sales divisions are all running as per normal with increased hygiene practises in place. We have also received a new shipment of sanitising products available for purchase, including gloves, hand sanitisers, soaps and sprays. These are available for pickup from the warehouse, or free delivery ...to existing clients. Our staff are all wearing face masks, and sanitising between farms to protect us and our clients. Ellie is joining our team for the next six weeks, assisting with stock control and setting up the new warehouse. She is normally a beauty therapist at Skinfit body & beauty Warrnambool (who are closed for services but still open for product sales during lockdown) Let’s all do the right thing, social distance and look out for each other during these crazy times. By being distant, we stay together

05.01.2022 Glenn has well and truly hit the ground running, meeting our existing clients and bringing across 5 new chemical clients this week Did you know, we offer high pressure cleaning as part of our hygiene service? Prior to swapping chemical providers it is crucial to make sure the dairy is clean. If there is an existing build up present that isn’t addressed and you swap to a higher concentrate chemical, it can cause ‘random’ jumps in your counts. However, these jumps are not ran...dom at all, they are the result of your chemical ripping out the existing build up, often chunks of milk-stone at a time. Our goal is to keep you in premium milk, which is why we include a thorough plant check prior to swapping you over to our chemicals, including an inline camera check to find any hot spots. This also gives us the knowledge of where any potential problems may be, so rather than bombing regularly (and wrecking rubberwear/spending money and time on bombs) we correct the problem at its source. Once your plant is clean, its our job to keep it clean through the use of effective chemicals. We offer high pressure washing as a chargeable service to non-chemical clients, and complimentary as part of our changeover service to new chemical clients. Part of us keeping you in premium milk, is offering you the right solution, for you, every time. From Geelong through to the border, we offer free delivery and are currently taking on new clients. To chat to our hygiene team, call Glenn 0498 868 883 or Damian/Gemma 0455 737 337

01.01.2022 SmartSpray modernisation in Yeo, Victoria. Installed for the Knight family in their existing 80 bale rotary. The advantages of the SmartSpray system speak for themselves, making it extremely popular with our clients (roughly one per month currently being installed).... SmartSpray is designed specifically for rotary dairies and eliminates the need for hand spraying, thus saving a full labour unit during milking. It ensures full teat coverage with a controlled teat spray amount, particularly important in these winter months. The bases also act as a leg spreader, making cups on easier. Another benefit of the SmartSpray system is that it can be installed into any existing dairy regardless of brand. Since commissioning, Clint (farm owner) has noticed a considerable improvement in his herd teat condition and mastitis reduction, and has HALVED his teat spray usage from his old walkover system. Milking approximately 1,000 cows, this is a considerable ongoing cost reduction. Installation included a complimentary automatic teat spray mixing unit and pump. Installation ran by Mike To discuss upgrading your teat spray system with our current extended warranty promotion, call Damian 0455 737 337
