24.01.2022 Wedding cake commissioned by Olya Shornikov for Alex and Kat's wedding last Friday. A blingy tiered cake for the lovely couple - mable mud, choc mud and white choc mud layers with white choc ganache.

24.01.2022 Birthday cake for my beautiful mothers! A decadent dark chocolate mud cake with home-made a-la-cherry-ripe centre + dark choc ganache icing with white choc scale design....had to undo the belt a little after this one!! Gorgeous flowers from 'Beautiful Blooms florist'.

24.01.2022 My first official wedding cake (thanks, guys!) and mum and I baked together, I decorated and Teg's florist did the flowers. The cake was a chocolate mousse cake and I think my arms are still sore from chopping all of that chocolate!! Was a challenge to get the icing smooth as the mousse cake needed to be refrigerated so couldn't use fondant.

23.01.2022 Diving cake for Andrew and the family - Happy birthday!! Caramel mud with milk-chocolate ganache and salted caramel buttercream and milk choc-ganache filling. Even I had two pieces!

20.01.2022 A wonderland cake for my daughter's 5th birthday party. White choc mud cake with milk choc ganache - I really enjoyed making this one! Included are some snaps of some of the party food I made - it's such a fantastic theme to get carried away with!

19.01.2022 Happy, happy, happy 40th birthday to my wonderful, interesting, amazing and intelligent big brother - love him so very much! Made him a cake that tried to encompass the 'essence of Andrew' (only missing a few of his passions...scuba, films (although sort of got a bit of this in), WW2....but, hey, thought I got quite a bit in there none-the-less!!) Vanilla cake with salted caramel buttercream and milk choc ganache.

18.01.2022 Dec 2011. A carousel theme. I was still working out cake physics for this one as well as finding out the limitations of icing but thoroughly enjoyed custome-making molds for the icing horses on the carousel and hand painting them!

16.01.2022 The order book is NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED FOR 2014 - am in assignment overload at the moment! Only one more cake for 2014 in December.... Will be taking a BREAK IN JANUARY (exams!!) ... OPENING AGAIN IN FEBRUARY 2015 and taking orders from Feb onwards. Let me know if you need a cake - happy to quote for you and just need a month's notice to plan my time around kiddies and studies :-) Simple or complex designs, flavour creations or standard...let me know!

13.01.2022 So, I'm a little late with posting this one! Happy 1st birthday to little Liam....gorgeous godson!! He had a Pooh bear teddy bear's picnic theme. It was a three layered decadent "adult" cake. Top and bottom layers - a rich chocolate cake, middle layer - choc mud with fresh raspberries, all layered together with home-made raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. FYI, am on a self-inforced cake slowdown this year, but do ask if you'd like a cake (there are a few that i have in the diary already so don't worry if I've said yes, then I've got it booked in!) and I'll see how the schedule is...you never know!!

12.01.2022 Dec 2010. Matryoshka theme. My first sculpted cake and wasn't free from disaster. A good learning experience and really piqued my interest in doing more!

10.01.2022 A very simple cake for daycare for my daughter's 5th birthday with a special surprise inside - a rainbow number '5' - the kids thought it was pretty cool ;-)

07.01.2022 A milk-free choc cake with dark choc ganache for the gorgeous Olya's birthday - happy birthday! It's Marceline from the 'Adventure Time' catoon/animation. This is my first attempt using my new airbrush kit and stencilling and it worked quite well for the blood-look of the red for the cake base. More airbrushing soon, methinks!

06.01.2022 A beautiful cake for a gorgeous couple! Chuffed to be the matron of honour and to make this cake. It was commissioned by Nika D'jamirze and consisted of five elegant layers.

03.01.2022 Dec 2012. A Disney obsession with Snow White and a party theme for little miss princess. Loved making this castle and cupcakes and decorating the party to suit the theme.
