12.01.2022 Sweet P’s candle care tips ... * When lighting for the first time always keep your candle alight until the wax is melted and reaches the sides of the jar ! Candles have a memory so if you burn just a little they will tunnel and you will have wastage. Picking the candle up and giving it a little twirl if needed when the wax is hot helps with this. * Always trim your wicks between each burn , the wicks are a natural cotton so they tend to mushroom. Trimming the wicks will give... you a longer lasting candle and reduce smoke. Wick trimmers work better but scissors do the job. * If you have a lid with your candle they work perfectly for putting out your candle , again less smoke. * It’s common to get some frosting on your candles in the colder months, this does not affect your burn in any way. * No two candles are the same when hand poured, sometimes issues arise due to certain temps, please contact me if this is the case I’m sure it can be easily fixed.
