24.01.2022 This one was a bit spesh today, as i got to see the birthday boy devour the first slice! I got asked if it breaks my heart to see my cakes get cut up? All I could reply was that it gives me no greater pleasure than to see people with a mouthful of my cakes and a smile on their face! They might look pretty, but ill be damned if they don't taste amazing! #archieturnsone #thomasthetankengine

23.01.2022 So, a few weeks ago I got to make one of my favourite types of cakes. Now it wasn't a favourite because I've done it many times before, in fact on the contrary, I'd never attempted something like this EVER before. It was a favourite because it was for my sister, Amanda and for 30th birthday no less. These are my favourite types of cakes because they're for family (something i don't do often enough now I make them for other people) but as a cake maker it's a special kind of wa...rm fuzzie when you get to enjoy your creation with the special people in your life. Amanda asked me to attempt an Andy Bowdy masterpiece (someone lots of you will be familiar with after tomorrow night's episode of MasterChef Australia ) This extravaganza is layers of vanilla bean buttercake, lemon cheesecake & raspberry mousse. 03.01.2022 This gorgeous girl went to an equally beautiful wedding a a couple of weeks ago Extra tall caramel mudcake and custom vanilla latte frosting was just divine. Finished off with just the right amount of pretty as to not outshine the bride.
