02.01.2022 Its my Birthday We are just so blessed to celebrate our birthdays every year & eat cake. Last week I got some very sad news a precious little girl at my sons daycare lost her battle with a brain tumour. She just loved eating the icing off my cupcakes I have cried so much anyone who knows me knows I cry watching the news so this has hit me hard. ... So Ive decided to give a portion of the proceeds of my spatula to a charity that supports children with terminal illnesses to give them to best chance to flourish & grow The amazing thing about these charities is 100% of the funds donated goes straight to the families. Here is a heartfelt story I heard today... they gave us food vouchers, cab vouchers, paid my rego and for fuel as well as so much more. They even paid a certain amount towards funeral expenses - it blew my mind! Brainchild Foundation were there emotionally to support everyone in the family and we stayed at Hummingbird House for a week before she passed and it was beautiful, thats exactly what parents need going threw something like this So my birthday wish is to give back to those who need it.
