13.01.2022 Wakefield Potters are back! Based in Morphett Vale, this is the studio I recommend to all of my southern clients. They have great kids classes, and excellent facilities! If you are up that way, you should check them out!

12.01.2022 Okay, so... Things have changed again. Would anyone be keen for the Sunday Class to go ahead? I will be dropping my class size to four people per session to comply with the density limitations if we do go ahead. What do you all think Sweet Bees? #covidupdate #craftclasses #classes

10.01.2022 Saturday Spots now available! Message me to book in! https://fb.me/e/TPg6dgQ7

No, your objects must be bisque fired before you take them away. If you are doing a Sweetie class, this is included in the price. Can I glaze my objects? Absolutely yes! We have three glazes to choose from, a white, a black and a clear glaze. When can I glaze my objects? Objects can be glazed after the bisque firing, and arrangements for glazing are made after the bisque firing. How much does glazing cost? Glazing costs are as follows: $7 per kilo over 500 grams $5 flat rate under 500 grams $1 Surcharge per item for items under 5cm x 5cm Do I need to glaze my object? You only need to glaze your object if you want to use it for food. You are, however, welcome to glaze it for aesthetic reasons if you like how it looks. Can I bring open food and drinks into the Studio? No, we do no recommend consuming open food or drinks in a pottery studio for health and safety reasons. Closed drink bottles are fine. May I accompany my child to a class and just sit in? No. If you are in my shed during class times, you must be doing the class. Can I buy clay from you? Yes! We sell bags of Bennett’s red terracotta for $24 per bag, or $12 for a half bag.

04.01.2022 Does anyone know to whom this lovely little piece belongs? It's gotten seperated from it's name tag...

03.01.2022 Sometimes people ask if the can do things on their pottery and I give this answer: You -can- do anything you like. It’s just that somethings might not work out the way you are expecting. (Image stolen from the internet)

02.01.2022 A good opportunity for a maker.

01.01.2022 In line with today's directive from the premier, all classes at Sweet Bee Urban Pottery is closed until further notice. We will be adhering to all directions to ensure the safety of our clients. We will continue with our firing schedule, and after the shutdown is over, works will be ready for pickup. Thankyou to all of my clients for their patience in this trying time. Hopefully we will be back up and running in a week's time. I look forward to seeing all your smiling faces soon! #covidupdate #adelaidelocal #adelaideshutdown
