22.01.2022 Newborn safety! Both the images below were done safely, without baby put in any risky positions and head and neck supported. The first image baby was laying safely on a soft posing beanbag on the ground, with the wrap going around and secured to another prop. At no time baby was left hanging in the air at all. The second is what is known as a 'composite shot', where 2 or more images are merged to create the final image. At all times, hands were securely on the baby supporting head and neck and then edited out using a mix of the images. When posting these style images, I always ensure that I mention that they are composites to ensure that if anyone tries to replicate any photos that they do so safely

19.01.2022 Its been super quiet on here while I have been navigating this crazy time with 3 kids. The good news is that from July onwards I will be taking on a limited number of new clients again for newborns (posed with extra precautionary measures), maternity, sitter sessions and family. I will only have a spot for 1 more newborn due in July at this point, two more in August, and two in September and October. I will open up more spots depending on the situation at the time. At this stage, I will be keeping a minimum of 7 days in between each client as well, which is why I need to limit numbers. There is no availability for June.

15.01.2022 I know there would be a lot of anxious expectant mums and mums of newborns out there. While I’m not taking any NEW bookings until things clear up, all my current bookings can be rest assured that I will be taking all precautions as I always have. I have always kept my hygiene levels to a very high standard; sanitising hands and washing props and sanitising studio and props in between use and have always rescheduled if myself or family members are unwell. That will be stepped up a notch to include disposable masks (when they arrive) for myself and parents and a sanitary station at front door to be used before entry and a minimum of 3 days in between each session. Bookings from June onwards still proceeding as normal for now. I’m expecting to see a surge of Christmas at this rate

11.01.2022 It's been very quiet on here for quite some time for medical reasons involving my eldest boy as he underwent major surgery, so thought to provide an update on session availability over the next few months. The studio is open again and currently taking bookings. Very limited availability for the next 3 months, so if you are due please get in touch to confirm availability and secure a spot in the diary. A big thank-you to all my amazing clients who have been very patient and u...nderstanding while we were away. He is doing incredibly well, and has been an absolute trooper throughout the whole ordeal. I will be posting some long overdue sneak peaks over the following days, so keep your eyes peeled!

07.01.2022 COVID - 19 ADVICE. I have made the decision that I will be taking no NEW client bookings for any due dates between now until June. CURRENT CLIENTS DUE BETWEEN NOW AND START OF JUNE PLEASE READ ON BELOW (an email will also be issued).... CURRENT NEWBORN AND MATERNITY CLIENTS DUE BETWEEN NOW AND START OF JUNE I have made the decision to quarantine myself at home for long as I need to reduce the risk. I have ordered a large pack of disposable masks which I will be using myself, and will also hand them out to clients for use while in the studio (toddlers and children will be exempted naturally). I will be setting up a hand-sanitiser station at the front door. I will also be fully sanitising studio after sessions (regular practice), and ensuring that there is a minimum of 3 days between use. If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, have recently returned from overseas or have been in contact with someone with the virus, I ask for you to do the right thing and let me know so we can arrange to reschedule when you are no longer a risk factor (also regular practice). If, despite my efforts, myself or any family members come down with the virus I will be alerting all clients immediately so we can make arrangements that suit everyone. Pleas also know, that I am fully vaccinated, and newborn safety and hygiene is always has been my absolute top priority. Even before this outbreak, I maintained strict hygiene and disease control practices by thoroughly washing my hands before a shoot and sanitising throughout. I also sanitise/wash everything that is used, even if not soiled. I will continue to take such measures following this tough time ahead as usual. In the event of a LOCKDOWN if one should occur, all sessions will need to be postponed until the lockdown is over. I know it may be disappointing to wait a few weeks if necessary, but I can assure you I will still be able to achieve amazing results with older newborns. While this decision will hurt the business financially, I am more concerned about the health and wellbeing of my smallest clients, their families and the community given the current situation. Bookings for newborns due from June onwards are still active with limited availability. I was going to be doing a mothers day mini shoot, however, I have decided instead to release vouchers that can be used once things return to normal. So instead of a regular mini session, where multiple sessions are held on a certain date and time-frame, purchases will have the flexibility of a normal outdoor session. These will be priced at a mini shoot price - however the beauty of them is that recipients will have the flexibility of dates in that they won’t be limited to a particular date like a normal mini session.

06.01.2022 COVID-19 - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT It is with a heavy, heartbroken heart that I will be closing my business in the best interest of my clients, my family and the community as a whole. The health and wellbeing of my clients is my absolute top priority, as it always has been. I have been in contact with all of my March and April bookings. If you have not yet received an email, please check your junk mail. I am hoping that the faster we do our part to slow the spread, the faster... we can start to rebuild our lives. I am heartbroken for each and everyone of you, but the safety of yourselves and your family is paramount. I will be in touch with all of my May/June and July clients if it is necessary to have to delay their sessions. I will be taking on no new bookings until it is safe to do so. To clients awaiting galleries, I will have these out this week. Things have been a little delayed while I have been trying ride this insanely crazy wave that so many are also currently on. Tough times are ahead, but we we will get through it. Love to all. Stay safe, and stay home.
