17.01.2022 Hi Everyone I keep forgetting to let you all know that I am unable to make cakes for awhile. Dealling with a few personal things and also having the kitchen renovated. Can wait till it is all done! I will let you all know when I am back and running again :)

11.01.2022 I forgot to share these aswell. With the left over batter from my dads cake i made some cupcakes. They were delicious! Bourbon whiskey chocolate mudcake with white chocolate ganache and salted caramel drizzle and flakes. Mmmmmmmmm!

10.01.2022 I took a break from cake decorating after Christmas as we were renovating and my dad was quiet sick. Yesterday was his birthday and I had planned a big three tier cake to make for his party. I baked it and and made the ganache at home in Canberra and sadly got the call on Wednesday that he wasnt doing to well so we had to travel to sydney in a rush. Dad settled down and went back to normal so I thought it would be a good idea to get my partner to bring me all my cake tools an...d the cakes. I did the best I could in the circumstances ganaching the cake in the kitchen at palative care and then bought them back to put fondant on in our hotel room. I decided to only do one tier with edible texta messages from family and friends on a plain white cake. Sadly he was never able to see the cake as he passed away in the morning. It definatly isnt the best looking or made cake I have done but it is the most important and favourite cake i have ever made. We were still able to celebrate his birthday for him with everyone that cares about him. I just wanted to share my favourite cake with you all. See more
