24.01.2022 2020/2021 McCOSKER SUPER SEDAN SERIES SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED Article Courtesy of the Super Sedan Association The 2020/ 2021 McCosker Super Sedan Series has been fin...alised by the Committee. It is important to note however that in these unprecedented and uncertain times that the calendar may change at any time depending on Government COVID 19 restrictions. At this stage it is a 16 round series commencing in October 2020 and finishing in May 2021. Summer Slam is back this year across two venues and two nights. Bundaberg will be Saturday the 26th of December and Gympie will be Sunday the 27th of December 2020. Both of these events will be $2,000 to win. In some very exciting news for the sport the new track in Gladstone is scheduled to be completed sometime in early 2021. Series sponsor Bob McCosker has been one of the many heavily involved in the development of this magnificent facility and the Association is very excited to be featuring there in May. Details will released at a later date but it is scheduled to be a two day event. The GP53, after such a great success in its inaugural year (2018/19) will be held on the 15th of May 2021 and will again be $5,000 to win. We welcome back our long term sponsors Ian Boettcher Race Parts, Afco Shock Doctor, Barnes Drilling, Rockhampton Mazda, Queensland Speedway Spares, TMS Sportswear, Ken Mills Toyota, Ford Wreckers Redcliffe and welcome new sponsors to the series Lockyer Bins and Kempy Race Pipes. A reminder to get your nominations in for Round 4 of th...e McCosker Super Sedan Series which will be held on Saturday 5th December 2020 at Hi Tec Oils Speedway in Toowoomba. Nominations will close on Sunday 29th November 2020 at 6.00pm (QLD) time with any nominations received after this time considered as late nominations and drivers will need to start rear of field in their respective heats. All nominations must be made via the Super Sedan Association website under the nominations tab. Please nominate as early as possible for promotional requirements.
