14.01.2022 October is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Month. October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant loss Remembrance Day. For all the parents that carry their babies in there hearts. To the parents that have loss through miscarriage, stillbirth, after birth and infancy. We light a candle to honour and remember our babies. Forever loved and forever missed... #iam1in4 ... On 2 July 2019 , I gave birth to our sleeping angel, Theodore. Instead of being excited upon his arrival, we got the devastating news our baby had no heartbeat at 33wks during labour. Instead of getting prepared to take him home, we sat with a grievance counsellor. Followed by planning a funeral. Although, we had the blessing of spending those 7days with him; thanks to the cuddle cots, donated by the Emerikus Land Foundation. We received a memory box that helped us treasure those moments of our son. It’s helped us with our grief. Testing has been done and it’s still unknown of why or how he pasted! I can say as a bereaved parent. The loss of our child is a pain, unimaginable. Our pain is still there and always will be. A part of us died along with him. Our son, Theodore, will always be remembered and loved. A candle is always lit. I’m selling cookies from October 15th till the end November and will donate the proceeds to the foundation.
