Yes thats right, Sweet Home Additions turns 1 today!! and what an amazing year its been, thanks so much for all your support over the past 12 months, meeting new friends and just being me.. 23.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone! We have just reached 6600 likes in 14 months and thought I’ll do a run down on what we are all about! I’m Sheree Mifsud, 27 years old mother and wife from Kurrajong NSW, Hawkesbury area. We welcomed our 4th beautiful baby to the world on Wednesday (3 boys and a girl). ... Hubby and I also have our own vegetable farm business and have been working together for 7 years now and love it Sweet Home Additions started in September 2019 when I kept buying candles that either didn’t burn right, the smell was so overpowering I had to throw them out or didn’t burn to its full capacity. This was something I used to give me some self care time or light at night when I’ve had a full days work and watch it burn, like good therapy to wind down the mind. When I started during some research on some top quality supplies, I tested and played around with many different fragrances some that smelt nice from the bottle but not so nice burning. It took many many months to get the consistency right. Then it all started with just 6 scents and one jar type to where we are today, just using natural soy wax and premium fragrances. The amount of amazing feedback we get on a daily basis does thrive my imagination to run wild and come up with many new items for the future and important event dates to come. As well as my BIG passion for pouring candles, I do love sharing my life as a mother, farmer and day to day things that go on in our lives as a parent and candle maker and just love to stay true to reality. 23.01.2022 December is here My favourite time of the year, if anyone is like me I love to be super organised and have everything planned. While on my break this month,... I’ll be doing a lot of planning getting stock ready new scents coming prepping for the new year relaxing baking Christmas goodies with the kids putting up our Christmas tree today!! and we are back 4th of January!! 19.01.2022 We are together again Thanks so much for following my journey with our family life, farm life and my passion for making candles. It truly means the world that you all care for us as much as we love caring for you all! How has it only been 4 days and they have grown up so much, helping daddy on the farm and keeping him company. The farm isn’t liking this weather though ... Summer is our hardest time of year to keep the veggies looking fresh from the heat. 10.01.2022 Me in action- packing all your orders this morning before I leave to go to our next business as veggie farmers, many hats are worn in a day. To be honest not sure how I get everything done from pre school drop offs, to being a permanent snack queen to my kids and helping hubby anyway I can. I just LOVE it all This week has honestly been our biggest week yet. From pouring many kilos of wax to packing 200 melts and trying my very best to secure each candle in the packin...g process with our dissolvable peanuts. I also put some in our geo jar cases to stop the rattling and did the job Are you loving our new collection as much as we do?!
