19.01.2022 Ugh, hump day, amiright? The good news is you've still got some time to order what I'm affectionately calling 'The Breakfast Duo'. The first time I made these vanilla and mixed berry cupcakes I literally scoffed one for breakfast. Ofcourse then I had to follow it up with a coffee - thankfully you don't have to worry about that if you grab some mocha cupcakes as well! This year was a bit of a weird one. With no traditional dawn services, Adam and I got up just before 6am and took a candle to the end of our driveway and observed the last post with a few neighbours on our street. It was certainly something to remember. These are just some basics ANZAC biscuits, traditionally sent to soldiers due to their long shelf-life. In recent years I've taken to challenging myself with a new style or skill with my birthday cake. This year is no different. Raspberry, lemon and white chocolate fault line mud cake, with lemon Italian Meringue Buttercream.
