20.01.2022 East Coast Tasmania is always my preferred holiday location. My second home. My heart and my vision. Piermont Retreat is where we held our Wedding Reception 10... years ago. Marrying on Richardsons beach under the hazard mountains. These places are being hit hard by the world's events. Our knee jerk reaction. If your overseas trip has been cancelled, your interstate weekend postponed, why not just re direct your focus, stay local. Coming here these last 2 days has been so nice to escape the madness, completely forgetting the world catastrophe we face. 18.01.2022 It's with great Celebration i have decided to close up shop on Sweet Picks. I have had an amazing trip with my cake business and thank all the beautiful people i have worked with over the years and the amazing people i have met including some incredible cake makers (big names too!). My trips have extend from Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (& bunnings a lot!) I have many accolades to Celebrate including blue ribbons on the Local, State and National scale. A recent fin...alist in Brides Choice Magazine as well! (results out tomorrow) Thanks to my beautiful girls (my cheer leaders) for their encouragement with every cake, they're always blown away by each and every one of them! Thank you to Andrew Pickersgill for putting up with my late nights and mood swings (and the stuff everywhere..). Thank you to my cake mates & Creating Cakes Launceston for all the referrals, the amazing venues i have delivered to and the Cake Decorators Association of Tasmania. Lastly thank you to my beautiful customers. I have only ever had one refund (entirely a bad call by me) but your backing your repeat business and all the referrals has instilled so much confidence in me. I started this trip before having children and now feel my time has come to focus my energy in other directions. Some have seen my new venture in design as Design Style Stay, but also I have extended my skills to be a part of the My Build Homes team. My Build So if you are doing a renovation or wanting an awesome design & construct team -drop us a line. I am not gone from your radar entirely! As always i will be continuing my passion for design and i have some great adventures on the rise.
