17.03.2022 | PLEASE READ | I just wanted to address changes to pricing given today environment Yes, the price of everything has gone up. Butter, sugar, flour, chocolate (this has gone up by a crazy amount), not to mention the cost of packaging and decorations. Some products have gone up considerably in price... I have been absorbing costs where I can, like I don't charge customers for express shipping of things I order and take that as a business expense. I order almost everything in wholesale even though it doesn't suit me and my small house to store 8kg of butter and 200 cupcake boxes because it's cheaper in bulk I have relationships with suppliers who provide quality products and pay for memberships that will provide a discount for my loyalty But this small business just won't survive if I continue to absorb these costs. I truly pride myself on giving you a quality product, both in taste and design. What you see on my feed is what you get. I don't alter my photos. I pay more for cake boxes that won't fall apart before you get home when you've spent $200 on a cake. I use real ingredients and not "essences", which is why my products taste as good as they do. I've tried using the cheaper butter and boxes, and I can tell you they weren't worth the cost. If I'm not happy with it, it won't leave my kitchen into your hands So if a box of cupcakes has gone up by $5 Or the cost of a cake has gone up by $10 or $15 in total, I'm sorry. But I'm just trying to survive like the rest of us are. Thanks for understanding M
