15.01.2022 "What is that?" was also our first thought when we saw this strange watery structure. Well, it's a tulip! Tulip island to be precise. It was built to help pro...tect the coastline from strong waves, but being in the Netherlands, why not make it pretty as well? And what better shape could you choose than a classic Dutch tulip? In the spring, tulip island is used to grow 150,000 you guessed it tulips! But even when the island is flower-free, we must admit, it is a rather beautiful and unique sight.
