21.01.2022 So I’m trying acrylic paint pouring at the moment. It’s one of those arts where the end result comes out nothing like what you were trying to achieve! Overall I think I like the pinks better than the blues. What do you think?
19.01.2022 I had to have a couple days off painting to get some uni work done. Rewarded myself with another attempt at an open cup pour. Love purple and aquamarine together and this kind of looks like a river in flood. What do you see?
18.01.2022 Which one is your favourite? The purple/teal ones are using flip cup method and the pink ones are dirty pours. The Gold is amazing in person. 16.01.2022 GARDEN: Work in Progress, Part 2 Second section of garden has now been dug up and planted with marigolds (one of my grandmas favourite plants) and pansys/violas (one of my favourite plants) as well as a dascia (was on sale at Bunnings and it looked pretty). The pansy’s are starting to flower and are really pretty colours. 15.01.2022 Holiday WIPs: Have just finished these placemats which will be Fathers Day present for my dad. Then I’ve got to baste, back & bind the 2 lap quilts I’ve made tops for. I would normally do my quilts QAYG but these are small enough to still do on my domestic machine. 2 weeks of holidays down and 1 more week to go

11.01.2022 It's been gifted now, so I'm able to post. Biggest quilt I've made so far. Just did straight line quilting but doubled the lines (didn't use twin needles though). Backing is two different fabrics done in blocks with sashing to cover the seams. Recipient and puppy both loved it. #QuiltsByJacki

07.01.2022 Used with permission from artist Leah Strutynski as I was unable to share her original post. I'm so excited, my latest creation just arrived. I diligently photograph all my quilts before giving (not gifting ) them away. After hoarding photos for years I finally printed them in an album and it is so nice to have a record of my creations. 07.01.2022 After seeing an open cup pour inspiration painting the other day and watching several tutorials, I thought I’d give this technique a go! Definitely not as easy as the videos look! Thought I had enough paint for 2 paintings but the first pour looked like crap so poured over it and came out with something I’m happy with. I like the technique so I’ll keep practicing. Both the purple and light teal have been blended with iridescence so I’m hoping that comes through once the pain...t dries. #acrylicpainting #acrylicpaintpouring #opencuppour #pourpainting #pourart

05.01.2022 So I painted and distressed this door 12 months ago without any real idea about how to finish it. Fast forward to last weekend when I attended a shabby chic paint workshop run by Canterbury Blue Furniture Paint. The chalk paint used 12 months ago is Rustoleum’s in Raspberry. The EZ2 Liquid Wax by Canterbury Blue is just divine! So easy to use and makes the colour of the paint POP! Now just need to finish the matching door, add pendant lights and a set of drawers for personalised free-standing bedside tables #canterburyblueez2liquidwax #diyshabbychic

03.01.2022 I had to take a video of my pour from the weekend. The gold has the most AMAZING shimmer that is just not picked up in the overhead photos. Am I allowed to have a favourite painting? I tell the others they’re my favourite too But ssshhhh, this one’s really my favourite
