25.01.2022 BALANCE I began my life as a celebrant for a few reasons. 1. I love LOVE 2. I love meeting new people 3. It worked around my family... Given the year that it’s been, 2021 is shaping up to be one hell of a year with not too much time off! That being said, in 2022 I will be halving my wedding bookings to keep that work/life balance. My folks were always there on the sidelines for weekend sport & I’d love my kids to have the same memories! (especially as one will be starting high school & I have limited time to still be deemed semi cool.) The year that was 2020 has thrown a LOT of perspective my way, especially working with so many families who lost loved ones. Life is short, it’s precious & making memories is priceless..... See more

25.01.2022 GRATEFUL what a year its been. I wake up grateful for so much today. Grateful that majority my family & friends have stayed safe & healthy after what has been one hell of a year Grateful to all the families who have given me the honour to help farewell their loved ones through this time. Watching them go through what they have makes me even more grateful for my familys health ... Grateful to my couples who worked with me & have been so flexible to try and accomodate their new wedding date. Therefore meaning that I dont lose my income, you have no idea how much I appreciate you all. For the wedding industry this financial hit flows on well into 2022, so thank you Grateful that its the last day of term and that I can just be Mum and not a teacher. (Turns our Im a terrible teacher!) Grateful that I live in Regional VIC & today I get to spend time with my bubble family, most likely drinking bubbles to celebrate such a simple thing like spending time together See more
