15.01.2022 Sydney West Furniture Repairs was started by Phillip Difrancesco and his wife, Linda, in 1994. Our business motto has always been to repair or custom build furniture as if it was coming into our own home. Always check with The Department of Fair Trading and ASIC as to whom you’re dealing with and for how long they have been in business. We recently renovated our own home and this would have saved us getting our ‘fingers burnt’ by two rogue traders who made false claims on t...heir website! Repairing or building furniture as if it was our own is what we believe sets us apart from our competitors as ‘good enough’ just won’t do. It’s also what has sustained us in the amount of repeat business that we are blessed with. We have many private customers that have been with us since we started that are prepared to wait months (depending on urgency and insurance disasters) for their furniture to be restored, upholstered or built, secure in the knowledge of our workmanship and quality of materials used. We don’t cut corners by using inferior quality screws, materials, foam or timber. We are traditional repairers and for fifteen years have worked for all of the major home insurance companies, transport companies and corporate clients’. Many insurance assessors trust us with their customers’ satisfaction when they change companies. Antique restoration is our specialty and we have a traditional French Polisher, who has over thirty years experience. With a wealth of ‘bits and bobs’ that we have accumulated over the years, we’ve been able to do wonders with the worst of pieces. This experience still gives us a thrill. Honesty and integrity are becoming rare commodities in today’s world but it is what you will get when you deal with us.
