22.01.2022 Happy hump day everyone, we are back at work after an extra long Easter break, cant say back to work as normal, because in these times, nothing is normalthe new normal for us is disinfecting cars before we get in, spraying all surfaces, wearing gloves and disinfecting once again after servicing and for course abiding to social distancing. We realise you may be working from home and not heading to the office as much or are not wanting to leave your house to drop your car of...f for a service or repairs, we have decided as you are a valued customer to us, we want to be able to help you in return, we can offer a PICK UP of your car from your home, depending of course on the location and proximity to our workshop. If you are interested in this service, either phone, email ([email protected],au) or message us through this page and we can discuss pick up of your vehicle. Stay safe and healthy See more

22.01.2022 Had this little ripper in for a Dyno tune

21.01.2022 Fitting a pre-diesel fuel kit, to your diesel, gives maximum protection to the diesel fuel system. The benefit to fitting a kit would be to increase the longevi...ty of the common rail injection system, most importantly the pump and injectors, the filter kit has a water separating membrane, which is a common killer of common rail diesel fuel systems. This kit was fitted to a Mazda BT50. If you are interested in fitting a kit to your vehicle, call us and we can discuss fitting a kit. See more

20.01.2022 Happy Monday, I’m sure this will bring a smile to Monday mornings

18.01.2022 Hi everyone, due to the stage 4 restrictions enforced by the Victorian government, we have had to close our doors until further notice. Last week we were told we can stay open, as we were essential workers, but as of late last Friday, we were informed by VACC and the Victorian government, we were unable to perform log book servicing, and are only able to carry out critical and essential repairs of a vehicle. We understand the reasons behind the governments decision, peopl...e are unable to travel more than 5klm, and not being able to travel with the restrictions, your vehicle service can be postponed, until we are able to open our doors again. We also understand these lock downs are here to try and stop the spread of the virus. Closing our doors keeps our staff and our customers safer. We feel very fortunate, we have been able to trade for as long as we have, and have had the support of our loyal customers and staff members. If you need to contact us, you can call the office and leave a message, Peter and myself will be popping into the office a couple of times a week, you can also contact us through our FB page, website or you can email us at [email protected] We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you all in the near future. Please stay safe and take care of your self and your family. Best wishes, Lisa, Peter, Alan and Nigel. See more

18.01.2022 WOW, what a year it has been for all of us. Just to let you all know, we are open for business, as we are an essential service to our community. As usual we are using social distancing, hand sanitiser is being used, the reception area and our customers vehicles are being sprayed with disinfectant to protect not only our staff but you, our customers. The next 6 weeks, may be a struggle for some, so please everyone, take care of each other, and if there is anything we can do to help you with the servicing or repair of your vehicles, you know where to find us. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, not only this year but over all our years in business. Hope to see you all soon. Take care, best wishes, Peter, Lisa, Alan and Nigel.

13.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone, we are back for another week I mentioned on Friday the importance of having your car serviced, the other important point Id like to mention, has to do with check engine lights appearing on your dash, please dont ignore these lights hoping they will go away, there is a reason they appear. Yes sometimes these are minor issues but if left unchecked may lead to major problems. If they do appear, call us and we can connect our scan tool to read the codes, diagnose the problem and repair if necessary. Stay safe and healthy.

12.01.2022 I know we are not using our cars as much at present, but it is so important to keep servicing your vehicle for two reasons, it can help the engines performance and also helps small business. Our isolation phase will pass and we will all then be getting back into our cars, either to commute to work, visit family and friends, taking a picnic lunch to a park or go on that long overdue holiday. Either way, it is most important to keep the oil and filters changed and a check over of the vehicle, including the brakes of course. Take care everyone, best wishes from all of our team.

11.01.2022 To all our valued customers, with just over 3 weeks before we close for our Christmas break, please dont leave your servicing to the last moment, call us to book in your service or repair, as we dont want to disappoint

11.01.2022 I know many can relate to this

10.01.2022 Well hello everyone, we are back after a lovely sunny weekend. We will be here to help with any servicing or repairs needed on your vehicle, for as long as we can. We know we have all been told to stay home as much as we can, but if your wanting your vehicle serviced or those long overdue repairs fixed, you can give us a call and we can always help. If you wish not to enter the workshop, the key can be dropped in the box at the front, payment can be made via phone and your keys can be left on the sterile counter when you pick up. We are taking all precautions to protect our staff and customers. Please all stay safe and use the social distancing.

10.01.2022 Happy Monday, Im sure this will bring a smile to Monday mornings

07.01.2022 To our valued customers, Wanting to keep you all informed of our current situation, we are still business as usual for the moment, depending on the governments decision, we are also being kept informed via the VACC . We are of course keeping in mind our staff and customers health at all times and will continue to monitor the situation. ... With the Easter holiday and possible lock down coming up, those who are intending to take off to the bush to do some camping with the family, if needing a service or repair, please book your car in ASAP as we are not sure what the future holds. From all of us here, please take care of yourself and your families, try to keep smiling, laughing, and talking. Best wishes, Peter, Lisa, Alan and Nigel

06.01.2022 To all our valued customers, WOW, what a crazy couple of weeks We take this opportunity to reassure you that our entire team at Swift Automotive are taking proactive measures to protect everyone. ... Our technicians are wearing protective rubber gloves and using a sanitized solution on vehicle surfaces, including external and internal door handles, steering wheel, gear shift, indicator and any other areas they may need to touch. We are also using plastic seat covers. We have placed hand sanitizers on our reception desk and ask you use it . We of course are also washing our hands on a regular basis. Please do not enter our premises if you answer YES to any of the following statements: 1. Have you returned fro overseas within the last 14 days? 2. Have you been in close or casual contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19? 3. Are you currently experiencing any flu-like symptoms? We ask you all to support local businesses, as staff members, their families and suppliers all need your support. Over the next weeks or possibly months its of great importance that we all look after each other and help one another, as we did only months ago when the bush fires were raging. We thank everyone of you for your continued support and understanding. Wishing you all the best, take care of yourself and families. Swift Automotive Team
