22.05.2022 Hi All. Hoping that you were not affected too badly by the weekends deluge. Like so many places sadly Bardon gym pool has also been devastated by Brisbane's flood event yesterday and as you can see is in need of serious TLC. This unfortunately means all our lessons are cancelled until further notice. Each customer will personally be contacted in relation to this. We will resume as soon as we can. 24.01.2022 Tridents did well on Sunday. Won a trophy at the Gap Gator's Lickiss Cup - smallest team there. But most important Jasper, Lincoln and Ryan swam at the Boondal meet - lots of PB's and medals. Great work team. Next stop Long Course State Champs for Joe and Jasper.

17.01.2022 Hi All Very sorry for how abrupt this term had to finish and hope everyone is keeping well. I hope the message was received in time. Like everyone else I am not enjoying this isolation / social distancing but trying to keep busy. So keep strong. We are all in this together and together we will all fight it and win. Over the coming weeks I'll send some cheer up posts to cut through the gloom that is posted everywhere else during this crisis.... Again I would like to thank all our families for their support. 12.01.2022 Yesterday Swim and co Ashgrove had 3 out of 8 Age Champions at the Ashgrove S/S senior swim carnival - congrats to Jenna, Anna and Ryan. But a giant Congratulations goes to all our swimmers who have participated in their school swimming carnivals this term. Well done - you have done us proud.

11.01.2022 Summer Holiday Intensives The three weeks are: 1.Monday 7th Jan Friday 11th Jan 2019 2.Monday 14th Jan Friday 18th Jan 2019 ... 3.Monday 21st Jan Friday 25th Jan 2019 Held at Ashgrove State School Pool, Glory St, Ashgrove (entry via rear of school off Otonga Rd). There are morning and afternoon sessions. Sqds are 7.30am, 9.30am, 4pm and 5pm LTS are 8.30am, 9am, 9.30am and 10am in the mornings and 4pm and 4.30pm ( maybe 3.30pm if there are enough enrollments) in the afternoon. LTS are 30 min lessons and squads 1 hour. Cost (per child) for LTS is $75- and squads are $40- for the 5 days or $18 per lesson casual rate (GST included) if you’re unable to attend the whole week. **CONTACT US FOR COMPETITION SQUAD TIMES** To really increase their fitness squad swimmers can attend morning and afternoons sessions at no extra cost. This means Valley pool will be closed til further notice and therefore our squad training will stop til they reopen. The safety and well-being of everyone is paramount at this time. 10.01.2022 A triumphant day for the Tridents. First time the club has gone as a team to the Relay Champs and we smashed it - PB's and team spirit was rampant. We are a tiny club and they may not have walked away with medals but they definitely walked away with pride in their hearts knowing they did a magnificent job. So proud of our team.

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone Recently the school advertised for the lease of the pool. My lease expires at the end of this year. The process has been a quick one and has been open to anyone interested. Upon receiving the request for quote document last week, which included a significant increase in rent along with other conditions, which I can not commit to, and after careful consideration of a range of other issues I will not be continuing my association with the school and therefore not a...pplying for the lease. Please understand that I have made this decision today and it hasn't been an easy one for me to make. I still intend to be involved in swim coaching in the new year which I am looking forward to and we will continue our association with Bardon Goodlife gym for some learn to swim - newsletter attached -and other coaching commitments. Many thanks for the support you have given me over the years, I have really enjoyed coaching / teaching your children, some since they were very young. Hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas. 03.01.2022 A couple of recent achievements. Jasper winner of the 2018/19 Dash Cup. Presented last night. Anna being presented / and wearing her bronze medal for 100 breast stroke won at the National Preparation meet last Saturday - awesome PB's for free and breast. Congrats to them both

02.01.2022 Hi All Letting you know that our lessons at Bardon Goodlife gym have finished for term 1 due to the lockdown bought about by COVID-19. It hasn't been confirmed by the gym but as the gym closed at midday today I am assuming that we are no longer able to continue lessons until they reopen. Over the next few weeks I will organise credit notes to be used next season for the cancelled lessons due to the gym's temporary closure. Detailed information will be emailed to our current ...customers. Although we are near the end of the term my thoughts are with our wonderful staff who now will not receive the income they were counting on. However fortunately we are still able to continue our squad training at Valley Pool. Anyone that is mini squad or above and are wanting to continue swimming are welcome to join us there.
