22.01.2022 Absolutely disgusted at the villains that snuck into the pool room and vandalized our beautiful pool today....... thank you to the parents that help me pull the 2 chairs and all the other belongings of mine they threw in, they totally broke the mat cover roller ....... that makes it the hardest thing to pull on now, I hope you understand that you’ll never be able to get back in as we are now forced to lock it like a jail........police were called and they could only make a phone report all welcome to share. We did get over it and had a fun afternoon but it wasn’t without an eerie edge for me. Too sad that this is just fun for others

20.01.2022 Thanks for the great feed back..... my decision was with a heavy heart....as I love this job. Good news is I have found out that our pool is actually a safe environment.... saltier the better, and chlorine kills the virus.....it’s the low socializing factor that is important atm. Big love

20.01.2022 To all my lovely students and family’s........ I feel obligated to keep us as a community as safe as possible...... after a survey this afternoon and some more media updates...... I feel more and more the best thing to do is to stop teaching and start back when we all feel ok. My personal view as we discover more and more, is to just stop..... stop what we have choices to stop, stay in, relax...... keep your children and close family’s well..... and try not to worry....... wo...rry never fixes anything but feeds our stress. I’m sorry to those that were hoping to come this week.....but I won’t be far, we will all get back into a routine again. And then I’ll be so excited to see you all. If you can please like this post so I know you have seen it. Many thanks and big virtual hugs to your beautiful children

17.01.2022 View from my office this morning, chilly day at gilards for a surf comp......... hopefully I’ve confirmed all that are coming this coming public holiday. Squeezing it all in in the morning ..... if anyone else would like to come to do a catch up class or an opportunity to bring dad etc just ask. Wishing you all a safe and warm long weekend.

15.01.2022 Hi all, had to cancel this morning on the suspicion the pool was to cold..... but nup its a beautiful 29 plus....degrees So yes swimming is on this afternoon Confirming all classes atm, a few changes to the times for a couple of morning classes this term but will discuss that as I catch up with those affected.... All in all looking forward to a fun filled return with spring on its way. Love nadia

14.01.2022 Morning for those uming and arring know I’m back and know the pools is a beautiful 29.3 degrees and rising this morning. With winter totally here, currently a 3.2 degree in bega, please add a rashie or some sort of top for your children....... the air can be cold in the pool room. 13.01.2022 Morning........ just wanting to reassure people swimming, I will continue hopefully up to the Easter holidays. Austswim sent an email last night and are working with local governments and they are still assessing the affects in pools and are yet to make recommendations. I just spoke to Pambula pool who are running on level 1 conditions instructed by the Bvsc...... it’s not going to close either........ just needing to clean more areas such as door knobs and the change room et...c. I understand this is an unsure time, and totally understand if you choose to keep your children away......I will also be keeping up to date information should I feel we should cancel before. Of course I will say as I’ve always said if your child is unwell pls keep them home. Thanks nadia

12.01.2022 Hi all, Term 2 starts this coming Monday and I’ll be confirming those that I know are returning very soon. If anyone knows or wants to start this coming term, please now is a good time to contact me.... Autumn swimming is a great term to continue for those that have started through the summer, or a great time to start especially if your child is nervous or not water confident. 08.01.2022 Just a friendly hello to you all, hoping that everyone is well and some are enjoying seeing there buddy’s at school again. And unbelievably unclear time hey. I’m thinking of what’s the best move atm, and feel with still no clear understanding of when swimming has the thumbs up ( I believe it’s not far off ) but more due to schools still not in full swing and winter fast approaching. The need to keep well... So at this stage I’m planning to not resume until the end of July. If all going well, we will start on the 3/8/20...... that’s 2 weeks into term 3 and will be an 8 week term. It’s a bit of a crystal ball look at all things going well, and the best part is it’s the start of spring, with winter officially over. Love it when I see students out an about, was completely mortified when a student ran up to me in the middle of Coles and wouldn’t let me go...... lol...... loved it really. So please reassure them I’ll be back in the pool soon Much love nadia

08.01.2022 Morning ........ so the teenagers that vandalized the pool a few weeks ago, sadly returned the following monday........sad that they didn’t get what they had done the week before was wrong...... and stupidly bought a few mates, they jumped the fence behind the pool building.....and once I yanked them into the pool room ( me in the pool.... room full of kids and parents ) one amazingly try to say... I thought it was free he didn’t confess to the week before but said he had ...been 3 weeks earlier........good god !!! I guess I’m posting this to fore warn people not to be complacent...... this kid has been identified and the owners followed it up with the police....they know him very well.....and not only did the police fine a backpack full of stolen goods next to the fence, this week a client said they watched him try a break into a car at the bega valley primary school a few months ago.......I’m not sure of the bigger solution..... but we now lock everything up..... and that feels enough for us....... but I know I won’t hesitate to call up bad behavior especially when it’s at the consequence of others. Hope your all well, the pool is deliciously warm this week as we’ve turned it up to an autumn setting......

07.01.2022 Beautiful steamy pool this morning, hoping to see most of you today...... with winter fully here it’s understandable that kids get sick, just wanted to reassure you it’s lovely and warm in.......... next week leaves only 2 weeks to go until the end of term, then July off...... term 3 will start the first week in August with the end of winter insight. All inquiries welcome.

04.01.2022 Well what a time..... . I hope everyone is ok..... I know lots aren’t, and I know people are still needing to be organized for what may come. Heart felt hugs hey! I’m returning to the pool for term 1 on the 3/2/20..... apologies to the new enquirers (I’ve been busy and will be organizing offers over the next few days ) those who have already booked in, I’ll contact you the usually way soon.
