14.01.2022 Latest Update on the pool from SwimFit Central The school has advertised for expressions on interest for the pool tender. There a several (exciting') interested parties. I believe the school is still waiting on a signed agreement from the council before they will go ahead with the tender process.... I will aim to forward any further developments.

13.01.2022 What an amazing opportunity for teen girls! Local surface designer, Rachael King, will be running a Painting to Product workshop in October as part of our Dive into Adventure Program for teen girls. In the workshop, Rachael will take the girls through the steps to have their artwork feature on a product of their choice. ... Rachael will support the girls in creating a drawing, painting or doodle, then using their phone, they will upload it to a print on demand website ready for them to see it immortalised on a product of their choice. 10.01.2022 Hi Samford Community Pool users, Although SwimFit Central is not continuing their lease of the Samford Community Pool we have been maintaining communications with the school regarding the future of the Samford Pool. The school will be putting the pool lease out to tender again once they have a signed agreement from the council that they will be continuing to fund heating. ... Without council funding the school is unable to cover the costs to heat the pool. This would mean the pool would open for only a limited time of the year. The school and the council are now working together to ensure this important community facility continues to operate. Unfortunately, we cannot give an exact reopening date, however, the school is doing everything they can to make this happen as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.
