25.01.2022 At the present time it is life as normal at the pool. Lessons are still on and operating hours are as normal. A few changes that you may or may not see is our cleaning rituals disinfecting and cleaning as often as possible, hard surfaces and commonly used and touched surfaces are also cleaned more often. Staff are washing their hands a lot and when I can find ingredients to make it or buy hand sanitiser that will be readily available for staff and our customers. Anyone with... a cough, or runny nose will be asked to go home for the safety of all. We ask that you practice the recommend social distancing while here as anywhere else. Chlorinated water has a sanitising effect and all equipment is disinfected between sessions. It is advised that if you are concerned using change rooms its best to shower with soap before you come and leave the pool and go home to shower and change, we are doing our best to keep the bathrooms cleaned and disinfected as per recommendations. We will be here until we either gradually move into our normal closed period for winter or we are forced to close. Water temp is 29+ degrees today and averaging 27-29 this past fortnight. 17.01.2022 Biggenden Pool prides itself on consistent service and will be here to cool down, when you need it, as we all do around Christmas. I hope it rains and all the creeks, water holes, rock pools etc fill up, not to mention our tanks, but until it does come down for a swim and cool off.

10.01.2022 2021 update I cannot confirm a start date in 2021 as yet. What I can tell you is that I will still offer 3 classes throughout the week but I have made the decis...ion not to run a Saturday class in Biggenden. A Saturday class will be available for anyone that is interested at the Isis Memorial Pool. The Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning class times remain unchanged at this time. I will keep you all posted on which day and time I run the third class.

09.01.2022 Intensive Lessons start today. 28 degrees in the water Tips for lessons on a cooler day: Arrive 5min before lesson, allowing them to swim before lesson will make them cold and not make it through their lesson. Wear a rash shirt to protect a little more from wind... Stay in the water, keeping water above shoulders keeping wind off. After lesson have a warm shower and into dry clothes.
