13.01.2022 Hello once again. We are trying out the Pentair Rebel pool cleaner in our pool. This is a fairly new cleaner on the market. So far it appears to be able to cope with most things like leaves and general rubbish. It does not get stuck like many other cleaners as it will turn itself out of corners. We did have a Zodiac T5 and so far the Rebel appears to be much better. Our T5 was getting stuck on the steps and on things like suctions and eyeballs. The Rebel is coping quite well ...with these things. We have a fibreglass pool and it is performing ok on the walls. In 2 hours it appears to have been over most of the floor and picked up everything that it had to. The Rebel does not appear to have as much impact on the suction line as the T5 as it does not pulsate with a diaphragm. In a way it is also not as random as the T5. This is because it does not follow the hose like the T5 and most other cleaners of this type. Yes it has moving parts but at least they appear to be more robust than the parts in the MX8 and Hayward cleaners. I have also put in a number of Pentair Hammer head cleaners. These also install quite easily and for a budget cleaner they perform very well indeed. My only criticism of both cleaners is that they could have one or two more lengths of hose in the cartons. Do you need a new cleaner? I am sure that we have one to suit your needs. I should also point out that we offer you service. If you buy a cleaner from us and it is not doing what it should or if you have a problem, talk to us. We will sort it out. We will if necessary come to your house and get it working or offer a solution generally at no cost to you. This is a service that an internet seller can't really offer you and a service that I personally offer you. Michael
