25.01.2022 Meet our 2020 Executive Team This is our Vice President Jordan Galtieri. Acting as the right-hand man to the President, Jordan will be a familiar face to all involved with the club. He will be shadowing all decisions and acting as a voice and first-point of contact for all athletes (and executives) alike. Having been that fly on the wall, Jordan has been around the club since 2017 but only officially joined the club as an athlete (cheerleading) half way through 2019.... Already graduating once in Marketing-Economics, Jordan is currently studying a Masters of Business Administration as well as doing a Post-Grad CERT in Corporate Governance. A passionate person and always giving his all as a backbase, Jordan is determined to kick the year off strong and see the club strive for greatness. If you see him around, be sure to say hey and dont be shy to strike up a conversation regarding anything food, the Essendon Football Club or even ask him about his impressive Pokemon GO collection. 24.01.2022 Meet our 2020 Executive Team This is our Treasurer, Zoe Jones! Zoe joined the club at the start of 2019 and hasnt looked back since. She has made amazing friends and memories, and cant wait to make more in 2020! Zoe is currently studying a double degree in Health Science and Media and Communications! ... Some may say Zoe is known for her obsession with Memes and TikToks, as well as being the girl who talks to anyone and everyone. She is responsible for all the events for the club this year! 2020 will be Leahs third year in the Swinburne Cheer and Dance club; with a history of competing with both the Cheer and Hip Hop teams. Additionally, she has been dancing with her local school for 12 years! Leah is currently finishing off her Bachelor of Business.... Leah loves summer because its good for camping, swimming and ice cream! She cant wait to bring the club some exciting and memorable events in 2020, so stay tuned! See more

Aliya is currently studying a Bachelor of Design and a Bachelor of Media and Communications. 13.01.2022 Meet our 2020 Executive Team This is our Secretary, Samantha Brown! Sam joined Swinburne Cheer and Dance mid year of 2018 and has loved being a part of the club ever since. Wanting to get involved as much as possible Sam was a part of the jazz, pom, lyrical and cheer level 3/4 teams in 2019. After finishing her honours year of her Interior Architecture Degree last year, Sam will be completing an advanced minor in Architecture in 2020. ... She loves live music, wine and tearing up the dance floor and cant wait to start training and competing again this year! See more

She joined our club in 2019 and has never had so much fun with a cheer and dance team before!... 09.01.2022 TEAM PLACEMENTS INFORMATION SUNDAY March 8 at the Melbourne Cheer Academy in Box Hill... Level 1/2 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm Flyers - 8:30pm to 9:00pm Level 3/4 - 9:00pm to 10:00pm All cheerleaders must attend either the 1/2 OR 3/4 placement (not both). Flyers must also attend flyer placement in addition to our 1/2 OR 3/4 placement. CHECKLIST Water Activewear Sneakers (cheer shoes if you have them) Hair up NO piercings (must be removed or taped) Flyer Requirements Level 1/2 a willingness to try good body awareness flexibility preferred Level 3/4 previous level 2 (minimum) flying experience good demonstration of flexibility and body control ability to perform basic body positions (heel stretch, arabesque) with correct body alignment Cheer Requirements Level 1/2 a willingness to try Level 3/4 previous level 2 (minimum) cheer experience AND/OR previous tumbling experience

04.01.2022 Shoutout to Razorforce, our Pom team, who did an absolutely amazing job at Nationals, placing 3rd Being a new dance program this year for our club, we are so proud of their accomplishments. At the start of the year most of the team had never even picked up a Pom before. Their performance at Nationals has definitely showcased their hard work and dedication! A huge congrats is due to them all and @ace_dancestudio for being such amazing coaches!

03.01.2022 ATTENTION With the continued state of the pandemic, Swinburne Cheerleading and Dance would like to let our athletes and community know that we will unfortunately remain training online for the foreseeable future. Our current athletes, however, have a variety of online classes and resources to utilise to keep up their fitness and connection with the club during this time. Swinburne Student Life are working hard to transition us back to campus when it is safe to do so, b...ut as of right now we must remain online. When there are any updates about our transition back to physical training, our athletes will be notified. In regards to joining the club: at this stage, we are not currently accepting any new athletes for Semester 2. We apologise to those who may have been looking forward to being part of our club in the second half of 2020. We miss all of our athletes and coaches, and we hope to train with them again soon.
