19.01.2022 Howdy folks! Mid-week check-in! We hope you're all taking it easy and have been able to have a bit of a break this week. (Not to mention you and your loved ones are safe and sound!) With our dancefloor still closed this week, one of our favourite Dj's - Dj Penny's from Heaven - has brought us some tunes for the week! So please, click on the link and enjoy this wondrous selection; to either get groovin' and movin' at home or to sit back and enjoy. Classes resume as per normal Monday 30 November.

17.01.2022 Sunday Check-in We are incredibly grateful to hear that the COVID Cluster is under control after this very stressful week. With that said, although lockdown has lifted and restrictions have been amended, we will still keep classes cancelled for this week. We will return to regular scheduling on Monday, November 30. This will be only if nothing else happens this week. ... Though we can go back this week, we feel it’s best to give all of us a chance to catch our breath and take care of ourselves! Please be assured that we are continually monitoring the situation and will continue to act preventatively and swiftly. We are incredibly sorry about this inconvenience, but we wish to do our utmost to support this community and all of our safety. We will have some fun music and resources for you to enjoy this week!

Beginners Swing @ 6:45pm - Learn some Balboa basics and get groovin' Continuer's Balboa @ 8pm - Jump right into learning some choreography for performing at the end of the year!... *Remember! If you're coming along, please buy your ticket online via our website beforehand to save yourself some $$* Venue: Spicer Church St Peters, 44A Fourth Ave. Plenty of parking onsite/on street.

09.01.2022 It's Sunday and we have even MORE dancing without *Swingin' Sunday Workshops*! 1. Dance in a Day: Lindy Hop - 11am-12:30pm (Followed by a mini-social to keep practising!) This is for absolute beginners with no experience whatsoever! Everyone welcome!... 2. Favourite ILHC Moves (Intermediate+) - 1-2:30pm We’re going to break down and learn our favourite sequences from ILHC! Venue: Kensington Park RSL (In front of the YMCA on the Parade, next to Pembroke) Plenty of parking on site. Remember water and a snack if you’re doing both sessions!

03.01.2022 URGENT NEWS Swing Out Adelaide community, due to the new COVID cluster that SA Health has announced, we will be cancelling classes immediately. They will be cancelled for the next two weeks as we monitor the situation. We are incredibly sorry about this announcement, but we wish to do our utmost to support this community and all of our safety. The temporary restrictions will come into effect at midnight tonight. ... This will impact all classes, including tonight. Everyone currently enrolled will be contacted via email (if you do not receive one by this evening, please contact us at [email protected] or our Facebook page). We are happy to offer current students a refund or class credits. Your and our safety is the most important thing. We need to keep our dancefloor and community safe. Prevention is best, so let's do it, Adelaide!
