08.01.2022 Food for thought and not a go at anyone. I started off doing my own nails with a cheap on-line starter kit. Now it's become more than a hobby; it's become my eternity If you go to get your nails done at a nail salon, you pay not just for the skimpy little bit of gel polish we use. You also pay for your comfort, our wages, the power, our extensive range of professional tools, the cleaning and sanitation of the equipment and salon, the rent of the salon, the insurance, our... constant upkeep in training and new professional quality products to offer you the latest technics and so on. If someone does their own nails, they only see that they have maybe paid $100 for the initial DIY nail starter pack; because they do their nails when they have time, in their own room, where the light and air-conditioning are running anyway. They don't need extensive training because all the know how is on YouTube and not least of all, if they don't like it, they can start over again and all that is lost is a skimpy little polish. 08.01.2022 This just popped up on my FB page. Beautiful effect.

07.01.2022 Had a lot of fun trying out the new mirror chrome effect

07.01.2022 The day I painted the Hippopotamus' nail I had seen this cute set of Salt and pepper shakers at a market stall, the perfect little gift for my daughters collection. When I got it home I realised one of them had a chip on his foot, missing one of his pinky/brown nails. Being the daughter of a really resourceful mother, I headed into my nail salon for a solution to the problem. A quick look around my colour selection I found #Options Teacup Rose, Play Gel Black, , #Pro_formance Balance Clear and #Shine-On. I painted the new nail in the jewellery technic and here is the result.

06.01.2022 I am going to do some extra training / upskilling next week and look forward to introducing you to the newly learned at your next visit.

04.01.2022 Can't wait for the arrival of this kit :)
