22.01.2022 In the world of health and fitness, setbacks happen to everyone. The most important thing is how you choose to deal with and respond to those setbacks. Real progress is made when you accept that health and fitness isn’t linear and that perfection isn’t possible. Accept responsibility for your actions, take a deep breath, and vow to get back on track. Nothing is as black and white as we make it seem, and you are not good or bad if you made poor food choices or skipped a work...out. Acknowledge your shortcomings and take the time to figure out how you might avoid a particular setback in the future. Have a plan: create a workout schedule, make time in your week to shop for and prep whole and healthy meals ahead of time, set aside time in your workday to get in some extra steps, movement or stretching whatever it may be. Make the commitment to yourself to keep moving forward and not let setbacks be the reason you give up on your health and fitness journey.

06.01.2022 Goals don't work unless you do! I'm serious here! It's one thing to wish for something but it's not going to happen unless you take the right actions! So make sure you: Write your goals down. Make sure your goals are something you actually want, not what you think you should be doing! What do I mean by this? Society (unfortunately) will tell you (magazines, Instagram etc) that you need to be a certain weight, or you need look a certain way but if that doesn't align with y...ou then you know what, that's cool. You do you! And if you don't need to follow society's expectations then I'm really fricken proud of you because ALL bodies are beautiful. So make sure your goals ALIGN WITH YOU otherwise they won't be important enough to work on. Tell a friend! Have an accountability buddy. Check in with each other daily/weekly Have a plan. Don't just think about your goal put actions in place to work towards said goal. There are so many ways to ensure you smash your goals, and just are just a few! Keep working towards your dreams, and never give up. No matter how hard it is and how long it takes. Make it a top priority See more

01.01.2022 A little reminder for the festive season. It's absolutely okay to indulge, and eat all the glorious foods WITHOUT guilt. Please know that your body is beautiful and the silly season isn't going to ruin all your hard work. I know it's hard to get out of that mind set, I too have been in it myself but now I'm all about balance and enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Eat that extra bit of cake, eat that extra bar of chocolate and spend Christmas making beautiful memories with your loved ones instead of worrying about the scales.
