23.01.2022 We are back from holidays. Pictured is some of our new bikes, still in being assembled but almost complete. Hoping to get an ETA soon!

20.01.2022 More from the cargo bike library.

17.01.2022 Nice photo from the bike library. Great that the bike library is being well used. At Switched on Cycles we have a Yuba Kombi and other bikes that you can try if you can’t book in.

13.01.2022 Just received this review from the lovely Beth who we met at a 'come and try' recently and brought a second hand bike from us. "I love my electric bicycle, bought second hand from Switched on Cycles. It has made a huge difference to my mobility. I take children to and from school/ childcare with it, which is much less stressful and sweaty with the help of a motor. But also, I can do more with it than I had been able to with my regular bike. For example, I recently towed home a new wardrobe, something I would never have attempted without the motor. (See photo) Thank you, thank you, thank you to Simone and her team - always helpful, and making bikes and their servicing affordable. I am so, so pleased with my bike!"

09.01.2022 Hi E-bikers! Gregg Berry, one of our wonderful mechanics, will be running these workshops for the ACT Government. First workshop is this Thursday (and it's free). Get in quick as only 8 can participate!

09.01.2022 It's been a strange year for everyone including us. We finish the year in good spirits, but low in stock. Our new bikes and kits should be here in January. The workshop and show room will be closed 19th December - 2nd January. To all our wonderful customers, thanks for your support and good cheer and we will see you in the new year!

06.01.2022 Dogs and bikes. Cute. Common use for a trike. Won’t work for our dogs.

06.01.2022 And we will be there too.

05.01.2022 Transportable transport! Welcome to our new addition to the CBR electric bike library. This folding electric bike easily folds up small, fits into a passenger s...eat or boot, and is great for people living in apartments. Are you curious about creating a new way to get from point A to B, perhaps combining light rail with a bike ride? Head to the SEE-Change website to find out more about the bike library and to sign up to try this nifty set of wheels out for a fortnight for free, except for a small insurance fee.

02.01.2022 Welcome Zuleka! Last month we said our fond farewells to Paula who had been managing the Canberra Electric Bike Library. Paula headed off to bigger adventures t...o bring even more impact to a sustainable Canberra. We wish her well! Luckily for us, Zuleka was already volunteering at the Canberra Electric Bike Library and knew how things work around here so she was the obvious choice to step into Paula’s shoes. Zuleka is ready to assist community members to take advantage of the wonderful resource that is the Canberra Electric Bike Library. There is still a lengthy wait list for loans but that’s why we’re planning a bunch of come-and-try events. At these you will even have the opportunity to try a few different models. The Canberra Electric Bike Library is an ACT Government pilot program managed by SEE-Change and Switched on Cycles. 02.01.2022 Certainly reflects our experience, although we never got that busy because we aren't that big. We ordered our new bikes in May and we are still on track to get them in late November/ early December. But it's the parts, Shimano gears and alike, that we are waiting for.

01.01.2022 Pictured is Isack, Winner of the See-change Future films 18-25 category and therefore also winner of a Switched on Cycles E-retro ebike that we donated as a pr...ize! Isack is going to use the bike to commute to work. Isack is also a photographer and videographer. Check out his work at www.siaposcreen.com See more
