This years theme is Changing Communities. Changing Lives. This week is all about the positive impact each volunteer emergency service has had on their community, showcasing their talent and dedication in the sky, on land and at sea. 20.01.2022 Thank you Members of SWORD VFES for your dedication, support, commitment and expertise over the past 10 days and nights at Nowergup, Kwinana and Red Gully, the start of the bushfire season with revenge. Your assistance working with other BGU's to control and extinguish these fires has been a big introduction to our new Firefighters and the support from season Firefighters is appreciated, well done Team. The positive feedback from various sources makes all the effort well worthwhile. Take care and maintain a watchful eye out on each other, it is still a long season ahead of us. A big thank you to SWORD SES for transporting us to and from the fire-ground.
