21.01.2022 WE HAVE RE-OPENED! It’s with great pleasure that the committee of the Sydenham Tennis Club welcomes back the members While we have been able to open we MUST still abide by the rules and restrictions to ensure the health and safety of all. We have come to far to let this go backwards!... All MUST follow the guidelines on the front gate. Those who do not will have their membership suspended and cards de-activated. If we all work together we can enjoy the club. It is MOST important that every person visiting the club (member and visitor) login to the QR app that is on the front gate for contact tracing. If we catch people not using like last time, that will be the last visit to the club for a while. We cannot risk the enjoyment of others due to the selfishness of some. Let that sink in for those who chose to ignore this last time. 18.01.2022 New Membership Portal ================== The Sydenham Tennis Club is moving to a new Tennis Victoria membership portal and will no longer be using the manual paper system we have used for many years that we all love and cherish that once a year! In preparation we are building the database and decided it best to start fresh with clean data.... We have set all memberships for current members at $0 so you can input your details. Please click the link below, register an account and PLEASE enter all your details. Select the correct membership be you a junior, senior or family. If you are a family, select the main person to get the correspondences and then add in your family member names. 12.01.2022 AUTUMN 2021 SEASON We are pleased to see that restrictions are gradually being eased across Victoria and we are looking forward to starting a new season in earl...y February. Autumn 2021 season start dates -> Ladies Tuesday, 2 February 2021 -> Mixed Wednesday, 3 February 2021 -> Men’s Thursday, 4 February 2021 Club Delegates must submit team entries by 8.00 pm on Monday, 14 December 2020. We hope to see everyone back on the court early next year!

10.01.2022 Just a quick update regards contact tracing. We require every player to be logged in with QR code. This includes any family member or visitor attending the club. Should a players not have a compatible phone please use someone else's to log in.

05.01.2022 Heads up for everybody about possible easing of restrictions. Council just advised that prior to opening of courts for play, the club will be sent forms and guidelines on safe return to play. Untill that is in place we can not open up. This could take a few days or first week after announcement. With that in mind, as soon as everything is in place we will post date for resume to play.... Looking forward it will be crucial that everybody follows guidelines otherwise council can turn around and lock up the club again. 02.01.2022 Well as most of you would have caught up with Daniel Andrews update, there are no changes which means NO tennis untill future announcements.

01.01.2022 In light of the eased restrictions, the Sydenham Tennis Club welcomes all members back to the full use of all out courts. Doubles is NOW allowed on every court with a maximum of 10 people inside each 2 court block. Please remember to social distance, wear a mask to and from and most importantly help with out contact tracing by scanning the QR coffee at the front gate each time you come and inputting your details. This has to be done individually by every attendee of the club at each visit. Welcome back!!
