25.01.2022 The next round of workshops will be announced shortly! Troy is just finishing up a very successful run of Enda Walsh’s The Walworth Farce at the Kings Cross theatre this coming week. The next lot of workshops will be announce as soon as it closes on June 9th.

22.01.2022 First workshops of 2018 will kick off in 2 weeks!! Classes will be on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Tuesday classes will kick off on February 27th... Class will run 6:30pm - 9:30pm and will be located at the SanTelmo Studio Space, Wellington St Chippendale. 5 min walk to Central Station, some on street parking (it's an excellent, excellent space for an acting class) Saturday classes will begin February 24th Class will run 1:30pm - 4:30pm and will be located at The Hub Studio, City Rd Chippendale. Workshop will run for 6 weeks. Cost is $250 Which includes a video copy of your performed scene. There are plenty of camera courses currently in Sydney so in these classes we will be working on some of the best contemporary theatre scenes around. Over the 6 weeks you will be paired up and learn different techniques and ways to build your character and how to build a scene with another actor. While acting is acting, the technical differences on how to pitch your work for on screen or on the stage are substantial. When holding auditions for my theatre company I am always taken aback by the amount of actors that come through who don't know how to pitch their work for the stage. The indie theatre scene in Sydney right now is thriving. The work being done is of an incredible standard, so much so film and TV casting directors are regularly going to see productions. The work I did on TV show's Pulse, Rake and Bite Club last year were a direct result of TV casting directors seeing my work in both indie and mainstage theatre productions. The chances of landing a part in an indie theatre production are so much more substantial than finding your way onto the screen in Australia. It is an "in' to the industry. Knowing how to "act" for stage is a must. 6 weeks. $250 Max 12 actors per class. Which will allow each couple a minimum of 30 mins of floor time. These classes are not drop in. It is a 6 week commitment. If you don't turn up to a class, your partner is left not getting to work for the week. So only book a place if you are able to meet that commitment.
