22.01.2022 Looks like orange is the new black ... But it shouldn't be! If you have noticed that your once beautiful black cat is getting some orange highlights, worth keeping on top her dietary tyrosine levels. Tyrosine is an important amino acid used for melanin production. For black cats, a noted orange/red tinge on the black coat indicates a tyrosine deficiency. Tyrosine can be found in chicken, turkey, eggs and dairy products. #catnutrition #blackcat.
