25.01.2022 Honda CBR900rr a great old superbike. If it runs, we will do our best to make it run better. 1998 we dont care if it is more than 10 years old. Air filter(K&N) hadnt been cleaned & serviced in years. Carburettors were all wrong and very worn.

25.01.2022 WOW!!! What a day, we had some sweet Royal Enfields in today supplied by Will Keith from Royal Enfield Sydney / Revelry Cycles and Mick Withers from Heavy Duty magazine . Such sweet rides with amazing performances, certainly made me rethink what riding is all about . A big thanks to Will and Mick for giving Sydney Dyno the opportunity to tune these beautiful machines.

25.01.2022 Today we had an Aprilia RSV4F in to have a look a performance it had a full Austin Racing exhaust system so we need to check the air fuel ratios. As expected it need tuning . The end result was smooth throttle power delivery an increase in power and torque and a very happy customer .

24.01.2022 Awesome day at Sydney Dyno today , we had this KTM 690 Duke R in to have a Rapid Bike evo module and quick shifter fitted .We also fitted a DNA High Performance Filters for good clean air . We were very happy with the performance gain and most importantly Im sure the customer will be very excited with the transformation.

24.01.2022 While we were tuning a bike today we were having conflicting figures on the Dyno , After scratching our heads for a few moments we decided to investigate further . First thought was fuel pump and low and behold the culprit stuck out its ugly head. This bike was bought to us and had just been serviced 1000km ago, looks like the filter was missed on that service . Its always important to have your fuel filters changed regularly it could save you lots of money in the long run .

22.01.2022 The Sydney Dyno 999 project bike shake down run is done. We had a few electrical gremlins which stoped us in the first 2 sessions within the first 2 laps , NOT HAPPY JAN Two recoveries later and some head scratching we found the problem which was the fuel pump electrical connector , it was cacca causing the engine to intermittently run out of fuel only on track with the vibrations, so we improvised and got it running reliably against...,,just as it started to sprinkle I decided to go out regardless and being on slicks I was very tentative on the throttle. The day ended well and we learnt allot from the short time we had on track . Now for some suspension tuning and a new fuel pump electrical connector . I’d like to thank David Holdforth for all the support and patience he has with me .

20.01.2022 Kawasakis ZX-6R what an impressive machine out of the box , such smooth power delivery . It came to us with a full Akrapovic Exhaust System so it needed a little work . After fitting a Rapid Bike Evo supplied to us by Rapid Bike Australia we were able to get the most out of this bike which made it even more impressive than before

20.01.2022 We were lucky enough to have this brand new Africa Twin come into the shop today . It hadnt even been ridden in the road, How could you resist not riding this beautiful machine ....the customer made the choice to have us run it up on the Dyno bending it in correctly. Running-in a brand new motorcycle correctly eliminates all the guessing. The process is done at low RPM in a controlled environment with varied load and temperature. During the bedding in procedure the oil and filter is replaced twice to insure the best oil quality . This gives all cams , bearings, shafts and gearbox components the best scenario for bedding in properly as well as the best seal between piston rings and bore , achieving greater stock horsepower and engine longevity.

20.01.2022 We had this Indian Motorcycle FTR 1200 come into the shop running very rough and constantly stalling with cold start issues , it was supplied to us with a Dynojet Research Inc. Power Vision 3. Unfortunately there is no user manual for the Power Vision 3 to be tuned on Power core so we had to wing it with out help . After many days trying to figure out the PV3 we were finally able to make some sense of it , the end results is an Indian that runs and idles as smooths as silk . Look at the torque increases at 2000rpms This Indian is evil.....

19.01.2022 Thats two Yamaha Tenere 700 for the week this one came in with a full Akrapovi exhaust system, we achieved an excellent result after fitting a Rapid Bike Evo module by Rapid Bike Australia .

19.01.2022 We had this beautiful Royal Enfield 650 interceptor in to be run in on the Dyno today , supplied by Royal Enfield Sydney / Revelry Cycles . The process takes approximately 4 hours on and off throughout the day Its the only way to go for a solid bedding in .

15.01.2022 Today we tuned this Gsxr 600 . The customer came to us with a power commander in one hand and a bike that wasnt running all that great in the other . After some tuning it now runs beautifully the way it was meant to .

15.01.2022 Honda’s VFR 800 with VTEC what a great machine, it came to us fitted with Rapid Bike Race module supplied by Rapid Bike Australia which allowed us to tune a smoothe transition of the valve timing with a nice increase in performance too.

13.01.2022 Something for fun we had this little Honda 125 Grom in today for a look so decided to throw it up on the Dyno and twist the throttle, just mad it on the Dyno ....its so cute.

13.01.2022 Busy day at Sydney Dyno we had this Panigale in for an oil and filter change and a new chain. The poor 999 was waiting patiently for its turn .

12.01.2022 Once again we see inferior air cleaners being used , one guess where the missing pieces went . This is why we only use DNA High Performance Filters at Sydney Dyno .

12.01.2022 Here at Sydney Dyno we are not just about tuning the latest and greatest fuel injected machines. We are also experts on classic carburettor bikes . Just like this 1980 Kawasaki Z1000 which was converted from fuel injection to carburettors. So no mater what its got weve got it covered.

12.01.2022 1976 Kawasaki Z1000 , Known as the Z1 was the first mass-produced sports bike to feature a DOHC 4 cylinder engine. Back then it produced 83hp and 58 lb-ft of torque . This one came in to us barley running so we got to work . After David Holdforth weaved his magic its purring like a kitten as it did back in 1976.

08.01.2022 Who would have thought there would be much benefit in tuning a Royal "Enfield 535 single cylinder" they are such an easy going soft bike. If Im not wrong this an increase of about 25% we tuned using a Rapid Bike unit.

07.01.2022 Ran this Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro up on the Dyno today, in standard configuration the fuelling wasnt all that great,a Tuning modules like the Rapid Bike Evo from Rapid Bike Australia should also be considered on a standard machine for economy , smoother throttle response and power delivery . Tuning modules are not just for modified bike applications .

Still a 650 but with the help of Will from Roya...l Enfield Sydney / Revelry Cycles, it feels as though it has a stronger mid-range. Freeway overtaking is even easier. 04.01.2022 Ducati Diavel and rightly named , it came to us with a horrible top end running a Power Comander PCV that someone else had fitted . After some time on the Dyno I think we can agree it’s now fixed . I’m sure the owner will be more than happy with the result and with a bonus kick in the pants between 2500 and 4000 rpm’s you’ve got to be happy with that . With a fresh belly of oil and new filter it’s now ready for the road or track .

03.01.2022 Today I spent some time doing some pin stripes had some input from David Holdforth and I’m pretty happy with the result . Just waiting on some logo stickers and it’s done

02.01.2022 We had this 2006 Aprilia rsv 1000r on the Dyno today for a look , now to find a tuning module and sort out the fueling....I have an idea.

02.01.2022 At Sydney Dyno we always recommend avoiding using foam filters as an aftermarket replacements its its always important to buy the best Quality filter you can afford and make sure it is regularly checked . Here is a perfect example of a neglected foam air filter. The replacement of a filter is a small job in comparison to what lies ahead in cleaning this mess .

02.01.2022 So its been a busy few week and theres not been much progress on the 999 project bike . But we have been able to install a STM slipper Clutch supplied by Omnia Racing and replace the standard swing arm with a Superbike style one . We are now waiting on the faring supplied by JW Moto Parts which wont be far away now .

01.01.2022 Now for an update on the Sydney Dyno 999 project bike , after a busy few week we had some time to test fit the track faring send it off for paint now it’s back it’s ready for pinstripes and back to the painters. We have a bit more work to do including fitting a set of Pirelli Superbike slicks some engine tuning and then some final touches, hopefully we will get some time to finish it in the coming weeks and get it out on track

01.01.2022 We spent some time tuning this Ducati X60r from Pierobon supplied by Evo-Racing . It certainly has some power and its so light , we are very impressed with the package and the Dyno results. This ones going on my bucket list.

01.01.2022 Here is a trap if you are working on an old English bike, the original headlight switch fell to bits. Not wishing to buy a Chinese cheap copy I ordered a new re...placement from the genuine parts mob. Nice touch the reinforcing washers, (NOT) their "too big" and shorted out against the headlight shell. Missed why it kept blowing fuses. See more

01.01.2022 This week we had this 2015 Multistrada in for a 60000km major service , valve clearances , all oils , fluids and filters changed including suspension oil flushed and changed, after Enzo weaved his magic over it , it’s now ready to hit the roads .
