21.01.2022 Welcome back everyone.. What better way to start the year then with a First Aid Course. pm me for details including prices. Get a small group together, your staff, mothers group, family or just some friends. From mid March we I'll be taking a break so please get in soon.
17.01.2022 Asthma suffers beware! Remember if someone is having an attack it can be fatal. Reliever puffers are easily available at chemists for under $10, keep one in your first aid kit. Allow them to take 4-6 puffs of their puffer, with 4-6 breaths between each puff (works more effectively with a spacer) wait 4-6 minutes. If no improvement call 000 and repeat.
16.01.2022 If you have one of these pools, by law you require a fence.
16.01.2022 Don't forget children as young as 14 can enrol into a course. Great gift to give your children this Christmas. Especially those getting their licence and having spending more time away from adults. Also a great certificate to have on your resume when applying for a job.
15.01.2022 Sydney First Aid is currently on leave. Please pm for any information
14.01.2022 Four first aid courses taught in the last two weeks.. Busy busy... Pm me for details
09.01.2022 THE WORLD'S MOST COSTLY PIZZA WITH MATT PRESTON. Artisan ham, crispy base, oozy mozzarella. It may sound delicious, but you won't believe what the true cost could be. www.worldsmostcostly.com
08.01.2022 An important reminder to asthma sufferers as the cooler weather approaches...
08.01.2022 People with EpiPens are being urged to check them to see if they need to be swapped after a defect was found in certain batches.
06.01.2022 Remember to research where you are going on holidays. These jellyfish are likely in tropical waters. (not just in Australia) First aid is to call 000, follow DRSABCD, flush the tentacles away with salt water and use vinegar.. Do not use fresh water as this causes the barbs to re envenomate the skin. These jellyfish cause cardiac arrest!
03.01.2022 Should be compulsory for all parents and pool owners..
02.01.2022 After all the recent accidents in the last few weeks about children drowning, I'm not only urging parents to obviously supervise around water including baths and blow up pools, make sure your outdoor area exceeds pool safety guidelines including moving all movable furniture so the kids can't climb but also remember to learn first aid. I offer Cpr only courses. One short hour of your time to ensure you practice on manikins and know what to do. Book aunties, uncles and grandparents in too they also may be supervising your children.
