25.01.2022 With a wet summer predicted, conditions look good for stocking our local rivers.
22.01.2022 Our November trip to the Snowies. There are some good fish around, but they haven't been easy. The area is looking fantastic and the rivers and lakes all at good levels.
20.01.2022 December we are back to meetings. We are doing a dinner for Christmas and you need to book. Get on the website site for the latest and the link to book your spot.
16.01.2022 Getting ready for Geehi on a wet weekend.
15.01.2022 If you are heading to Jingara, keep an eye on this advise.
15.01.2022 Don't you wish you were here.
10.01.2022 Were getting back into casting practice in small groups. Fly tying is still unavailable due to restrictions and renovations at our venue. Meetings are a little hard to forecast, we could use the venue, but our members might get refused entry if the venue is busy. At this stage our zoom meetings are working well and we have had some great presentations. We hope everyone is staying safe, and we have our November trip to the Snowies coming up. Keep up to date with the Flyrodder or on our members page.
09.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all. Hopefully we get multiple hook ups next year. Tight loops. Thanks Muzz for finding this image.
05.01.2022 We got a message to the club from a bloke who lost a rod and reel at Geehi. If you hear of anything, please let us know.We got a message to the club from a bloke who lost a rod and reel at Geehi. If you hear of anything, please let us know.
02.01.2022 The trip to Jingara at Jindabyne is now live and places are available to be booked by clicking the link above, note that this is a members only event. This trip offers us an unforgettable experience to fish in the pristine waters of the spectacular NSW Snowy Mountains. With Australia’s highest peaks creating a beautiful backdrop, the lakes and rivers of the areas surrounding Jindabyne provide us with great fishing spots that will test our skills. Foremost of these locations i...s the Thredbo River which is home to some of the wildest trout in Australia. Log on to the website to book your spot. The following week we will be camping down at Geehi....where you can find fish like this.
02.01.2022 A bit of news from the Snowies for our up coming trip.
01.01.2022 Its almost Geehi time again. This year we are going to Jindy then Geehi. With events in the north last year, possibly impacting us, we have decided to miss our usual week in Long plain and stay in Jindabyne instead.
