Apart from finding out we have a friend in common, when I had the opportunity to listen to the speeches made at the wedding, it was confirmed as to how lovely and caring these young men are. James chose an outstanding combination of Charcoal tweed jacket & vest with Douglas Modern Trews for himself and suits for the wedding party during the ceremony, ...then all changing into kilts for the reception - James in his own tartan and the wedding party in Douglas Modern, all in Bonnie Prince Charlie Jackets. Some interesting information about the song - Flower of Scotland : If youve ever watched any sporting event, youll know just how evocative a national anthem can be and the 'Flower of Scotland' is no exception. This powerful tune commemorates the victory of the Scots after Robert the Bruce defeated Englands Edward II at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. Composed by Scottish folk musician Roy Williamson, it can often be heard at football matches and has been used as Scotlands victory anthem at the Commonwealth Games since 2010.

04.01.2022 Seeing all of the components of a wedding come together is such an awesome sight. This lovely couple that we outfitted recently had their own tartan woven to order for their ties, then we made them vests in a beautiful tweed fabric, and then their kilts were made in a commercially weaved tartan. To add to the finer details of their day, we had ribbon printed to match the woven to order tartan. When It all comes together - along with all of the other wedding details - it makes your day so very personal and ever so special.
