23.01.2022 Currently seeking 2 polo grooms to join the Darriwill team for the Sydney spring season and Melbourne polo season, polo experience preferred but not essential. ... Salary, accomodation and shared work car are provided. Applicants must be confident riders, have a strong work ethic and able to work in a team environment. You will be working with 8-10 seasoned horses. Grooming, feeding, exercising and cleaning boxes are the main yard duties but will be expected to help with other farm jobs when necessary. Located 15 minutes from Geelong and 1 hour from Melbourne. Travel is entailed with the job as the team is planning to play the season in Sydney. Starting date is ideally on the 1st August 2020. 23.01.2022 Update on Polox events 2020 Local practices and coaching have been going well. We would encourage all Clubs to consider options for local coaching and green ho...rse chukka days. Sept / Oct is now looking more likely as the restart for our NSW season, with a good run of events planned. Unfortunately the Galloping Gully carnival has been cancelled. The PAA have also advised that no Top Gun events will now be held in 2020. Hunter Valley are still considering the format for their event on 29th / 30th August. So watch this space.

22.01.2022 Lake George wrap from Taylah & Grace Lake George weekend was the coldest one so far. With a B women’s team, C open team, two masters and a couple of pool players. The C open team winning their comp and the women came runners up. Wet and windy conditions on Saturday morning really put the players to the test, but coming out with a win for both the women’s and open. Connor played in the Albury/Holbrook team and super happy wth how his horse went and cooper playing in the ju...niors side. Special thanks to Kaye and Abbie for filling in with the women’s team. James Mathers out the back and Dean Nixon up the front were smashing it ball after ball. Overall everyone had a great first carnival. See more

19.01.2022 Our wonderful Nanny is currently heading home. We are in desperate need of a replacement. Immediate start! Can sign you off for 88 days!! We are a family of 4. ...Willow and Annie are 3 and 18 months and are active, outdoorsy country kids looking for a female nanny to assist us whilst mum and dad work and study. We provide a car, your own accommodation and food. We are after someone who can help with the cleaning - general and able to take the girls to carcoola (preschool) two days a week, where those two days would be for yours to have off. Mum is a primary school teacher and Dad is a station hand on our family farm. We are after an english speaking nanny who can start asap. We would love to hear from you. PM for more details. TIA.

09.01.2022 NSW 2020 Polocrosse Season - Update It is with regret we need to advise members that due to the ongoing COVID crisis, the NSW carnivals that had been planned f...or the later half of 2020 have been cancelled. Our Host Clubs are concerned for the welfare of their communities and the inherent risk of bringing COVID into these communities. PA NSW would however support and encourage all Clubs and Zones to conduct Training / Coaching and green horse events. The seasons are finally being kind to us, the dust has gone and the weather is warming up. So now is a good chance to bring out the younger and green horses in non competitive environments. PA NSW will be discussing with the PAA Board options for NSW fees for 2020 and 2021. We will advise members as soon as a decision is made. Please note all Registered members are still covered by PAA insurance for practice and coaching in 2020. Bring on 2021 ! P

04.01.2022 PAA Survey on Participation and Contribution of Polocrosse The PAA have engaged Andrew Kikeros from Life-Time-Wide, to assist with rebooting polocrosse during a...nd after COVID-19. Members will be receiving a survey within the next 7 days (it is being sent out in 7 sections). In some cases, where the same email address is provided for several members, there will only be one survey sent. We encourage you to please complete the survey for your household when one of your family receives it. Information gathered will be used to assist PAA and all States in grant submissions, attracting sponsors etc for the benefit of all polocrosse participants. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the NEO.
