20.01.2022 Sydney Vital would like to congratulate two high level University of Sydney Appointments: Jeremy Booth and Andrew Kneebone. Jeremy Booth has been awarded Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Physics at Sydney University. This is a great achievement that is highly deserved after all the initiatives promoting high quality, novel radiation therapy delivery he has led on campus.... There is not only the innovative research design, but also the guidance of postgraduate staff whilst maintaining an expanding busy physics service on site. It is also a reflection of the special team of physicists on site at RNSH who have been able to develop and deliver these ideas into clinical practice. Andrew Kneebone has been awarded a full Clinical Professor in the Northern Clinical School of Sydney Medical School. Very few full professor positions are awarded at USyd, and reflects his dedicated attitude to education and the research initiatives on campus at RNSH and prior life at Liverpool. Previously Andrew has been recognised at RANZCR for his commitment to training excellence and this is another great acknowledgement of his teaching skills. On a local level at RNSH Tom Eade and George Hruby have transformed the model of patient centred care in prostate cancer to a seamless, efficient and high quality model.
