25.01.2022 Another lovely goodbye and amazing jump from the man @jacksontaylorpk "I have been attempting to get this jump for months and I finally got it as a one step plyo. This was probably my biggest challenge here at aapes Chullora and Im so happy to have gotten this jump now seen as this amazing gym is closing. I had been looking at this jump standing since from when i first came to aapes and I didnt think it was possible because of how big it is, also considering from what I have heard, less than a few people have ever made this jump standing. I know I didnt make this from standing, but this is as close to standing as possible... thanks heaps baekori for filming and for everyone who has helped me achieve this monster of a jump..."

"The only way to say goodbye to AAPES. ... Golly its so sad to see another one go, Chullora you will be missed so much. Have nothing but a thousand fond memories of this place, and I hope I dont forget a single one of them. Theres something about pk culture, past all the differences between people, that when you are really challenging yourself, the people there that support you to keep going and do better and try anyway, the ones that really push you to overcome your fears and challenges, and then cheer you on when you go on to achieve them, they make pk culture what it is and its the most wholesome thing to feel in a place like AAPES. Goes to show a home doesnt always need four walls, sometimes it just needs a few boxes too "

I was here for 3 aapes Jump Offs, and in my first one, I got third place in both speed and style, and clinched the Best Trick with this dive roll. Looking back, it was my proudest... competition performance (not that I compete that much), and to be in the sharing the podium with the likes of @joescandrett @domtomato @gussy.rodriguez and @mrjesseturner is seriously beyond words for me. It was in 2016! Is that what peak athleticism feels like? So much fun jumps were had here (check my stories for some throwback videos), but thankfully theres still AAPES Botany and aapesthree. I rarely do arm jumps so this felt awesome to get after only a few attempts. I have only done parkour for about a year and a half, but this gym is where it all started. This is where my parkour journey began. I have met some amazing people, trained with incredibly talented athletes and achieved things that just a year and a half ago I would never have thought to have been possible. This place gave me the opportunity to make something of myself and I cant thank enough those people who have helped me become the athlete and person I am today.
