22.01.2022 The Randwick Council are out in force today to celebrate the opening of their NSW gov funded program to boost the Coogee economy during covid. I asked the Mayor Dan if there was a disability access plan. Crickets. The project officer jumped to his assistance declaring that there is a ramp 50m down the road... that puts pwd in the traffic, so far as I can tell. 10.01.2022 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for NDIS participants.... One of our clients has recently converted a wonderful interwar Georgian Revival heritage building for use as SDA. The spaces were already very generous internally, so we assisted them to develop sympathetic strategies to incorporate accessible features into the landmark, with minimum impact on the intrinsic heritage value of the item. What a great result! When can I move in?

At first she thought it was more bad news then realised it was joy to be understood at last. Frankly, this kind of encouragement keeps us from retiring!...
