01.01.2022 The inaugural San Structural Heart Centre of Excellence Left Atrial Appendage meeting concluded today with observation of 4 cases of left atrial appendage closu...re in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory. Yesterday's program included Amulet step by step implant techniques, tips for procedural success and hands on simulator training. Drs Jason Sharp and Dennis Wang facilitated the meeting in a collaboration between Specialist Cardiology, Abbott and Sydney Adventist Hospital. We look forward to inviting more of our colleagues from the Asia Pacific region when possible for subsequent training events.
