23.01.2022 There is only 1 hour remaining until our extremely limited amount of Early Bird tickets go on sale! Some very important information There are 12 to a table. If you want to sit with others in a group, we recommend getting 1 person to buy the tickets. This way, when your order goes through, you know you're sat together; when lots of individuals try to buy tickets, two groups of people may be going for the same table and this results in a mix. Please have all the contac...t details of each person within your party ready to enter into the ticketing! It's crucial for everyone's safety that contact details are accurate for each attendee. This includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, USU numbers, SIDs, dietary and mobility requirements. You are able to transfer tickets to other people but only until the 15th of December. If the person you would like to sell the ticket to has dietary requirements, you may only do so before the 8th of December, otherwise SASS can not guarantee their dietary requirements will be catered for. You will not be able to leave orphan (single) seats as these are difficult to fill. If you have a group of 11, we recommend trying to find a 12th person, otherwise only 10 will be able to sit together. See more

16.01.2022 The last week in November is Trans Awareness week, finishing today with Trans Remembrance day. Its a great time to learn about what it means to Transgender or gender-diverse and light a candle for those who have lost their life due to violence and discrimination. SASS believes that nobody should feel less than because of their gender identity and expression, which is why we have days like today. Below are the sources mentioned: Gendercentre https://gendercentre.org.au/ Transh...ub https://www.transhub.org.au/ Minus18 info on Transgender identities https://www.minus18.org.au//trans-awareness-week-digital-r QLife: (free)LGBTI peer support and referral https://qlife.org.au/

It is written, edited, and curated entirely by members of the USYD community who are female-identifying, non-binary, and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Named after the first (illegal) mardi gras that occurred in 1978, this literary magazine remains a testament of how far we have come, and how far we have yet to go. A huge thank you to all the contributors and editors of 1978. You have all made this beautiful literary magazine a possibility through your strength and dedication during the last few months.
