Not just flying - but the management side as well. That exposure set me up perfectly for the airlines. It only took me 2 years to get to a grade 1 instructor level and get some IFR work. The fast progression was definitely a highlight. I became a professional at Basair, not just a pilot."... #AimHigh at it's best.

When it was raining and I couldn't fly, I was in the hangar learning to do 50hrly and 100hrly checks, minor repairs and maintenance work. I learned a deeper understanding of the machines I operate. I was exposed to a more tangible understanding of the aircraft, how it should and shouldn't soun...d. How it should and shouldn't feel. This experience gave me an edge throughout my entire career.
