19.01.2022 I absolutely love the feeling of shaving others. They are completely relaxed and trusting your touch and stroke. Their therapy is my therapy. It is so personal and intimate. Its such an intensely focal and acutely precise moment, that stroke of clarity and focus and the trust the client has for you that you basically wont cut them or ruin the beard line . For the kids at school, its the kid that steps in and sticks up for the kid being bullied. Its the person who lives their truth. Its the way you react. Its not about your position as Owner or Director that makes you a remarkable leader. Its your attitude. Its your spirit. Its your heart. I learn more from my kids because Ive trained them to be leaders. My wife has trained them to lead, get up do this, do that. Thats leading and by example, not just talk. Gratitude and self respect is Self Love. Seeing yourself in others is Self Love. Break the habit of blaming others and look at stuff differently and take responsibility when you feel like you dont need to. Random Acts of Kindness. Then you see the change in them and so much can come out of that. Its gratitude & leadership in action rather than just a hashtag. You cant be fearful at the same time as being grateful. !!!! The wisdom comes in knowing whats worth it and what isnt worth it. We can leverage the amount of energy we have in a day by doing what we love and remaining motivated based on reaching our goals, but one day you may wake up irritable and unhappy. 04.01.2022 Smile . Sometimes its harder than what we think. You may or may not have an idea of what you are to others. Our minds are great at minimising or maximising this perception. All I know is that you cant be everything to everyone but you can be kind to yourself. Note to self: Drink plenty of water, maybe coffee earlier in the day, nourishing fruits and vegetables get us through a busy day. Its a physical job. I use to drink at least 5-8 coffees a day and run around the cor...ner and drag smoke cigarettes especially after dealing with a dozen clients without a break.... theres a lot of physicality, a lot of talk, and different requests to deal with whether its the old man that needs to be treated with as much sensitivity as the crying kid being watched over by the exhausted mums and dads. Or its that super fly youngster asking to look like his favourite rapper or sportsperson. Catering for all this whilst being watched by others can come a bit more naturally to some. The more energy you put out, the better quality energy you need to take in to sustain this.
