24.01.2022 Part of our complete interior renovation project was to bring in some much needed natural light to a dark windowless hallway. One of the larger lightwells we have constructed, the highlight being the electric opening skylight from Velux. Huge benefit of the electric opening skylights means you can create airflow at the touch of a button.. This particular model from velux is also fitted with a rain sensor that will automatically close the skylight if the rain arrives while your out

22.01.2022 Great pic to show what a difference a day can make. Stay tuned to see how we transform this very original 1950’s cottage into a modern open plan design that makes use of absolutely all the available space.. the space pictured has served its time well as a bedroom and cosy lounge room space. Removing the bedroom wall and opening up the adjoining wall will join the original lounge room and what is to become the kitchen.. exciting stuff!!

20.01.2022 Our full kitchen renovation finished beautifully for a very happy client in Glenhaven - completely custom built to accomodate every requirement of this busy household - featuring pull out vertical spice drawer - display shelving -specialised prep area and all drawer configuration. Finished with shaker detail to all panels and drawers with a huge double butlers sink. Hard to miss is the 40mm custom Vanilla Noir stone bench top, waterfall edge and splash back.. perfect!

17.01.2022 Not what we want to see this close to Christmas - but a great example of what a legitimate variation to contract can look like.. this external wall is completely rotted out from about half way down. The cause of this was a combination of poor building material choices and poor workmanship by the original builder. Using wet area gyprock to line walls around a bath is something we would not recommend - especially in cases such as this when you have a shower over it!!.. though the minimal installation of waterproofing membrane is ultimately what shortened the life of these bathrooms - thanks to our carpenter this project is on track for completion.. better than new!

16.01.2022 Handover of one of our favourite projects this year, converting a very dated 3-way bathroom to a large luxurious family bathroom. Part of the original client brief was a seemless renovation with the rest of the home with no signs of the conversion... looking forward to sharing some professional shots from our photographer of this one in the New Year that will highlight some custom cabinetry as well as some exciting products from Reece Bathroom Life and great tile choice from Beaumont Tiles.

07.01.2022 This was fun - going old school at our Drummoyne project - floor starting to take shape.. this one will feature a very traditional hand laid border using individual tessellated tiles to create something truly special - more to come..

05.01.2022 Final piece of the puzzle was installing the huge double butlers sink to bring our kitchen renovation in Glenhaven to completion. Part of the client brief for this project was to have an all drawer design to maximise practical space. We managed to tick all the boxes on this one through some thoughtful cabinetry design. Can’t wait to share the final pics of this one very soon..

This particular client had a very clear picture of what she wanted to create however struggled to find a builder that gave her confidence they could deliver the quality of install required - we were fortunate enough to be recommended for the project and welcomed the challenge of producing the level of install required.
