18.01.2022 *A message to our followers* Thank you for all your concerns and enquiries. Please note that Sydney Business Link and the Assyrian Business Awards were legally purchased following the proper procedures. ... There are rumours being spread that are false and are being dealt with by our legal team. We understand your concern, and we are deeply upset that this is happening but we also respect each person and their decision. As there are official legal proceedings there is not much else that can be disclosed at this date. However, what we can disclose is that we’ve seen a record number of votes and nominations come through. We are extremely proud of our local Assyrian businesses who are continuing to encourage their clients to vote for them. The event will be spectacular with honoured guests and representatives to make it even more special. We cannot wait to see you all there! Kind Regards, ABA Committee 2020

07.01.2022 We had an insightful chat with last years Assyrian Business Awards winner Ievan from Just Girls Hair. Its so rewarding to see how these business owners really benefit from the Assyrian Business Awards. Read his answers below. Will your business be winners this year? Get voting! #ABAwards2020 ... ++++ How did you feel when you heard your business name being called out as the winner? I felt great joy and happiness to have been called out as the winner because I am passionate about hair, and serving the needs of my customer base. What does this award mean to you? It means a lot to be recognised for something you are passionate about, and to know that your clients value your work, and have had a positive experience with the services I offer. Are you excited about this year's event? Extremely! I’m also excited to have the opportunity to be in the same room with other members of the Assyrian community who make a positive difference in their respective fields. How has this award helped you become recognised even further within the community? When people look for a hairdresser, they look for one that is recognised with awards and positive reviews. It’s a testament to their skill and experience. Winning this category gives people the assurance that they can entrust their hair to me, and allow me to help them achieve their desired style. What advice would you give to other new business owners? Be passionate about what you do, and never stop learning. Listen to your customer, and give them an experience to remember. ++++
